**Section 7:** Extend the left foot, flex the right knee, and press inward. Hold for five breaths, then stop. This method guides the Spleen Qi (Spleen Energy) to eliminate cold-heat sensations in the heart and abdomen, as well as pathogenic distension in the chest and diaphragm.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Loosen the hair, face East, grasp the solid fist (a hand gesture where the thumb is tucked into the palm and fingers wrap around it), hold the breath, and complete one cycle. Then raise the arms and perform lateral Dao Yin movements. Cover both ears with the hands and pinch the pulse areas beside the ears with the fingers. Repeat five times. This practice clarifies vision, keeps hair black and prevents whitening, and treats Head Wind disease.
**The Mantra states:** The five Zang organs each possess their own Qi. When lying down at night, close the breath. Upon waking, if one wishes to ingest Qi, first rotate the body to expel retained food residues and stale Qi, and only then proceed to regulate and ingest the Qi. The method involves closing the eyes and grasping the solid fist, lying on the back with fists supporting the area between the breasts, and raising the knees to touch the back and coccyx. Internally retain the breath, bellows the Qi in the Qihai (Sea of Qi), allowing it to emerge from within, rotate and turn it, and exhale using the "Ha" sound. Perform nine or eighteen repetitions to stop. This constitutes the process of expelling old Qi; after completion, proceed to regulation. For Dao Yin Fu Qi, sit facing East, hold the breath four times, and click the teeth fourteen times. This cures toothache caused by dental caries, or is said to prevent cavities from consuming shellfish-like foods.
All humans survive by inheriting the primal Qi of Heaven and Earth. Each time one swallows and breathes, internal Qi resonates with external Qi. From the Qihai, following the exhalation, the Qi rises up to the throat. When exhalation through the throat reaches its limit, close the mouth and continuously puff the cheeks to swallow, producing a muffled sound. Then, let it descend from the left side, passing through twenty-four vertebral segments, similar to water traversing the Kan trigram, with the sound heard clearly. In women, it descends from the right side. This ensures internal Qi remains stable and distinct. Use intention to guide the Qi to the hands and massage the abdomen to accelerate its entry into the Qihai. The Qihai is located three cun below the umbilicus, also known as the Lower Dantian. For beginners whose Upper Jiao (Upper Burner) is not yet open, massage assists in forcing the Qi downward quickly. If the Qi is already circulating, it will descend naturally without massage. One instance of closing the mouth and swallowing continuously, up to two swallows, is called "Cloud Movement." Swallow moistly, mixing saliva with the Qi, is called "Rain Bestowal." Before the ingested Qi circulates fully, apply intention with each swallow. Do not rush to continuous swallowing. Practicing this for three years leads to success.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Stand upright, lean against a wall, and hold the breath while guiding Qi from the head to the feet. This cures carbuncles with crusts, Leprosy (Great Wind), hemiplegia, and various Bi syndromes. Alternatively, start Qi movement from the feet, letting ascending Qi reach the head, then stop.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Lie supine initially, close the mouth, puff the cheeks and abdomen, fill the mouth with Qi, and swallow. During swallowing, intentionally push the Qi backward. Doing this morning and evening yields excellent results.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Squat in a corner, hug the knees with both hands, lower the head, and hold the breath. Repeat nine times. This cures neck, waist, and leg pain, and is said to treat exhaustion; other aspects are the same as above.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Extend both arms left and right, hold the breath. Repeat nine times. This cures arm pain, Wind-Labor syndrome, stagnant Qi, and blockages.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Sit upright, look up to heaven, and exhale the turbid Qi generated from overeating and drinking alcohol, which induces hunger and clarity. Suitable for summer practice, it makes the person warm-cool and free from irritability.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Sit upright, inhale clear Qi through the nose, direct it to below the navel, exhale slightly through small mouth openings while holding the breath. This eliminates stagnation. Suitable for summer, favoring heat.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Lower the head slightly and breathe gently, keeping hands clasped and holding the breath laterally twelve times. This aids digestion, lightens the body, enhances spirit, and prevents pathogenic Qi from entering. Alternatively, use Dao Yin Fu Qi to drain Qi: all involve lowering the head, hugging knees, squatting, binding oneself with a rope, lowering the head, and holding the breath ten times. This aids digestion and lightens the body.
**Dao Yin Method:** Often act as if pushing a thousand-jin weight, alternating left and right with both hands throughout life to avoid disease.
**Dao Yin Method:** Place hands on the ground, contract the body and curve the spine, and thrust upward three times. Practicing this daily tonifies and extends life. When practicing, avoid wind and must hold the breath. After each session, exhale silently so it cannot be heard by the ears. If fatigued, use exhalation; for cold conditions in the Zang organs, use blowing; for heat, use exhalation to discharge it.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Move like a snake while holding the breath. Lie supine straight, then rise and squat. Face the direction of the Wang-Xiang Qi (Prosperous Qi), hold the breath there. Eat little to maintain unobstructed flow, take Qi as food, and saliva as drink. Go out in spring, store in winter. The sweet jade fluid of the Hua Chi (Splendid Pool) is like syrup; strive to practice without doubt. Another version says: Spring generates, Summer nourishes, Winter stores internally, close the eyes to preserve inner light; others are the same.
**Dao Yin Si Qi Method:** The "Ha" sound belongs to the Heart, which governs the tongue. For dry/stiff mouth, blocked Qi, and various pathogenic Qi, treat with "Ha". For severe heat, open the mouth wide; for mild heat, open slightly. Must judge appropriately; excessive treatment causes damage.
**Dao Yin Si Qi Method:** The "Hu" sound belongs to the Spleen, which governs Central Palace Earth. For mild heat, abdominal distension, and stifled Qi that does not evacuate, treat with "Hu".
**Dao Yin Si Qi Method:** The "Xu" sound belongs to the Liver, which governs the eyes. For red/swollen/hot eyes, treat with "Xu".
**Dao Yin Si Qi Method:** The "Chui" sound belongs to the Kidney, which governs the ears. For cold waist/knees and declining sexual function, treat with "Chui".
**Dao Yin Si Qi Method:** The "Si" sound belongs to the Lung, which governs the nose. For cold-heat disharmony, treat with "Si". Ha, Si, Hu, Xu, Chui, Xi are the sounds governing the five Zang organs. For extreme fatigue, apply these according to principle, and recovery is immediate.
**Dao Yin Principles:** When lying on a bed, keep it high to prevent Earth Qi from rushing up and interfering with Ghost Qi.
**Dao Yin Principles:** Do not allow irritable or violent individuals to participate; they are thieves of the body.
**Dao Yin Principles:** Do not face North, to avoid offending Spirits. Remain silent during activities. On Hai and Zi days, do not spit towards the North, as this reduces lifespan.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Visualize two Siming (Life-Mandate) deities rotating left and right, frequently visualizing their familiar forms.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Visualize divine light yellow and bright, with the moon by your side, visible day and night.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Visualize the shapes, Qi, and colors of the five Zang organs connecting and circulating throughout the body.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Visualize the colors and spirits of the five Zang organs in their respective locations. From here down, human form embodies the Five Elements.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Visualize the five Zang organs transforming into dragons and fish.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Visualize essence in the umbilicus, with Kidney Qi appearing reddish-white, descending from the back over the head to welcome the body. This is called Returning Essence.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Visualize the Heart as fire like a dipper, repelling evil Qi.
**Dao Yin Fu Qi Method:** Visualize flying and splitting the body. Constantly imagine people before and behind you; over time, you can converse with them, asking questions in any direction.
