治寒疝疼痛。
木香（三钱） 茴香（二钱） 吴茱（一钱五分，汤泡） 川楝子（四钱） 长流水煎服。
阴气积于内，复为寒气所加，荣卫不调，故成疝。川楝入肝畅气舒筋，则无挛急
之苦，故以为君。木香破气，善调营卫，故以为臣。茴香接引诸药入小肠，且开任脉，
故以为佐，茱萸之性，彻上彻下，心腹俱通，故以为使。三焦一气得灵则宣，遇寒斯
阻，故以温剂宣之，所以胜寒气而开魄门之
路，水用长流，取其源远而通，引气下行耳。
治小肠疝气，牵引脐腹疼痛。
乌药（槌碎，姜酒浸一宿） 木香 茴香 良姜（炒） 青皮（去白） 槟榔（各五
钱） 川楝子（十个，用巴豆七十粒，打破同麸炒，川楝子黑色，去麸与巴豆，只用川楝
子） 为末，每服一钱，温酒调下。痛甚者，炒生姜，热酒服。
治阴丸肿大，痛不可忍。
荔枝核（十四枚，烧存性，须用新者佳）沉香，大茴香（炒）木香，青盐，食盐各一
钱，川楝肉，小茴香各二钱，为细末，每服三钱，空心热酒调下。
治疝气，神效。
茯苓 白术 吴茱萸 山楂核（各一两） 枳实（八钱） 橘核（三两） 荔枝核（一两） 八角茴
香（一两，炒） 炼蜜为丸，重一钱五分，空心细嚼一丸，姜汤迭下。
当归尾（七分） 附子（炮） 官桂 茴香（炒） 柴胡（各五分） 芍药（四分） 玄胡索
川楝子 茯苓（各三分） 泽泻（二分） 水煎空心服。
Treats pain caused by cold hernia (Han Shan).
Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, 3 qian) Huixiang (Foeniculi Fructus, 2 qian) Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus, 1.5 qian, soaked in boiling water) Chuanlianzi (Toosendan Fructus, 4 qian), decocted with long-flowing water and taken orally.
When Yin qi accumulates internally and is further compounded by cold pathogenic factors, the Ying (Nutritive) and Wei (Defensive) mechanisms become disordered, thus forming a hernia. Chuanlianzi enters the Liver channel, unblocks Qi, and relaxes sinews, thereby alleviating spasms and cramps; hence it serves as the Sovereign drug. Muxiang breaks Qi stagnation and effectively harmonizes Ying and Wei; hence it serves as the Minister drug. Huixiang guides other herbs into the Small Intestine and opens the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel); hence it serves as the Assistant drug. The nature of Zhuyu (Evodiae Fructus) penetrates from top to bottom, clearing both the heart and abdomen; hence it serves as the Envoy drug. When the Qi of the San Jiao (Triple Burner) becomes agile, it circulates freely; when encountering cold, it becomes obstructed. Therefore, warm agents are used to promote circulation, overcoming cold pathogens and opening the pathway of Pomen (anus). Long-flowing water is chosen for its distant source and smooth flow, guiding Qi downward.
Treats Small Intestine hernia (Xiao Chang Shan Qi) with pain radiating to the umbilical and abdominal regions.
Wuyao (Linderae Radix, crushed and soaked overnight in ginger-infused wine) Muxiang Huixiang Liangjiang (Alpiniae Officinarum Rhizoma, stir-fried) Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, white pith removed) Binglang (Arecae Semen, each 5 qian) Chuanlianzi (10 pieces, processed with 70 grains of Badou [Crotonis Fructus] broken open and stir-fried with bran until black; discard bran and Badou, use only Chuanlianzi), ground into powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine. For severe pain, take with stir-fried fresh ginger and hot wine.
Treats swelling of the testicles with unbearable pain.
Lizhihe (Litchi Seed, 14 pieces, charred but retaining efficacy, preferably fresh) Chenxiang (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum), Dahuixiang (Foeniculi Fructus, stir-fried) Muxiang, Qingyan (Halitum), Yanshi (Sodium Chloride, each 1 qian) Chuanlianrou (Toosendan Cortex/Seed meat) Xiaohuixiang (Foeniculi Fructus, each 2 qian), ground into fine powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with hot wine on an empty stomach.
Treats hernia with miraculous effect.
Fuling (Poria, 1 liang) Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, 1 liang) Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus, 1 liang) Shanzhahé (Crataegi Fructus Seed, 1 liang) Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, 8 qian) Juhe (Citri Reticulatae Semen, 3 liang) Lizhihe (Litchi Seed, 1 liang) Bajiaohuixiang (Illicii Veri Fructus, 1 liang, stir-fried), prepared into pills with refined honey. Each pill weighs 1.5 qian. Chew one pill thoroughly on an empty stomach and swallow with ginger decoction.
