款冬花 五味子 麻黄 马兜铃 杏仁（去皮，尖，各二钱） 甘草（炙，一钱） 水煎，食远服。
治小儿肺胃俱寒，涎喘气急，不得安眠。
人参 五味子 茯苓 白术 陈皮（去白） 甘草（炙，各三钱） 姜枣水煎，食远服。
治小儿喘急，咳嗽不止。
杏仁（去皮、尖，炒） 紫苏子（炒） 陈皮（去白） 赤茯苓 桑白皮 大腹皮
半夏曲 甘草（炙，各一钱） 姜水煎，食远服。
治风热天哮。
黑玄参（焙） 山栀（炒） 天花粉（焙） 川贝母（焙） 枳壳（焙） 橘红
百部（炒） 黄芩（焙） 杏仁（去皮、尖，炒，各一两） 桔梗（焙） 粉甘草
（焙，各五钱） 薄荷（焙，七钱净叶） 蜜丸，弹子大，灯心汤，或淡竹叶汤化下。
大白梨汁（一斤） 白茯苓（四两，乳制，晒干，研极细末） 麦冬（四两，熬汁） 川蜜
（一斤） 川贝母（二两，去心研末） 核桃肉（四两，去皮，净，捣烂）
先将梨汁熬熟，次将蜜炼熟，入前药在内，再熬成膏。如痰有血，入童便四两在内，每早空心白汤调半茶钟服。
治肺郁痰喘。
贝母 杏仁 青黛 为末，蜜和姜汁丸，口含噙化。
治初生十日，至五十日，卒得嗽逆吐乳。

山栀（一钱五分） 上微火煎如饴，涂唇化下。
Treats prolonged coughing in children.
Dong Hua (Kolkwitzia Blossom), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra Fruit), Ma Huang (Ephedra Herb), Lou Dong Ling (Aristolochia Root), Xing Ren (Apricot Seed) [peeled and tip removed, each 2 qian], Gan Cao (Licorice Root) [honey-fried, 1 qian]. Decoct in water and take at a time distant from meals.
Treats cold affecting both the Lung and Stomach in children, resulting in salivation, wheezing, rapid breathing, and inability to sleep peacefully.
Ren Shen (Ginseng Root), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra Fruit), Fu Ling (Poria), Bai Zhu (Atractylodes Rhizome), Chen Pi (Citrus Peel) [white pith removed], Gan Cao (Licorice Root) [honey-fried, each 3 qian]. Decoct with fresh ginger and jujube in water and take at a time distant from meals.
Treats rapid wheezing and incessant coughing in children.
Xing Ren (Apricot Seed) [peeled, tip removed, stir-fried], Zi Su Zi (Perilla Fruit) [stir-fried], Chen Pi (Citrus Peel) [white pith removed], Chi Fu Ling (Red Poria), Sang Bai Pi (Mulberry Root Bark), Da Fu Pi (Areca Peel), Ban Xia Qu (Pinellia Fermented Paste), Gan Cao (Licorice Root) [honey-fried, each 1 qian]. Decoct in water and take at a time distant from meals.
Treats asthma caused by wind-heat.
Hei Xuan Shen (Scrophularia Root) [roasted], Shan Zhi (Gardenia Fruit) [stir-fried], Tian Hua Fen (Trichosanthes Root) [roasted], Chuan Bei Mu (Fritillaria Bulb) [roasted], Zhi Ke (Bitter Orange Fruit) [roasted], Ju Hong (Citrus Exocarpium], Bai Bu (Stemona Root) [stir-fried], Huang Qin (Scutellaria Root) [roasted], Xing Ren (Apricot Seed) [peeled, tip removed, stir-fried, each 1 liang], Jie Geng (Platycodon Root) [roasted], Fen Gan Cao (Licorice Root) [roasted, each 5 qian], Bo He (Mint Herb) [roasted, pure leaves only, 7 qian]. Make into honey pills the size of bullet seeds. Take with Deng Xin Tang (Juncus Decoction) or Dan Zhu Ye Tang (Lophatherum Decoction) to dissolve and swallow.
[Alternative Method] Da Bai Li Zhi (White Pear Juice) [1 jin], Bai Fu Ling (Poria) [4 liang, processed with milk, dried, ground to fine powder], Mai Dong (Ophiopogon Tuber) [4 liang, decocted for juice], Chuan Mi (Honey) [1 jin], Chuan Bei Mu (Fritillaria Bulb) [2 liang, heart removed, ground to powder], Tao He Rou (Walnut Kernel) [4 liang, peeled, cleaned, pounded into paste]. First, boil the pear juice until cooked; then refine the honey. Add the aforementioned herbs into the mixture and continue boiling until it forms a paste. If there is blood in the phlegm, add Tong Bian (Child's Urine) [4 liang]. Take half a tea cup mixed with plain warm water on an empty stomach every morning.
Treats phlegm-wheezing due to Lung Qi stagnation.
Bei Mu (Fritillaria Bulb), Xing Ren (Apricot Seed), Qing Dai (Indigo Naturalis). Grind into powder, mix with honey and fresh ginger juice to form pills. Hold in the mouth and slowly swallow/dissolve.
Treats sudden coughing, air reflux, and vomiting of milk in infants aged ten to fifty days after birth.
Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger) [7 slices], Gui Xin (Cinnamon Twig Heart) [2 qian], Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Dong Hua (Kolkwitzia Blossom), Zi Wan (Aster Root) [each 3 qian], Xing Ren (Apricot Seed), Mi (Honey) [each 1 qian], Shan Zhi (Gardenia Fruit) [1.5 qian]. Decoct over low heat until it resembles maltose syrup. Apply to the lips to allow gradual dissolution and swallowing.
