Sores on the Neck: A sore appears on the upper neck, the size of a cherry, presenting five colors. After the sore ruptures, the skin of the neck breaks; however, it will resolve spontaneously if milk is consumed daily.
Stiff Limbs: The limbs are stiff with persistent alternating chills and fever. After several days, the limbs become hard as stone, producing a sound like bells or chimes when struck by an object, accompanied by progressive emaciation. Consuming a decoction of equal parts Cornus officinalis (Cornelian Cherry) and Costus root (Aucklandiae Radix) cures the condition.
Rectal Prolapse: The rectum protrudes about one cun, causing severe pain. It must be allowed to dry and fall off naturally before prolapsing again; this condition is named "Jie Chang Bing" (Intestinal Severance Disease). If the entire intestine protrudes, it is incurable, but if only the initial one cun protrudes, it is treatable. Place sesame oil in a container and have the patient sit on it with their buttocks, then drink several cups of hemp seed juice to cure.
Water from Mouth and Nose: Foul-smelling water flows from the mouth and nose. When collected in a bowl, iron-colored shrimp-like fish, the size of japonica rice, can be seen jumping incessantly. Catching them with hands causes them to turn into water, indicating muscle decay. Healing occurs through dietary restraint, specifically avoiding chicken meat.
Protruding Soles: The soles of the feet protrude (like the shin), with black bean-like sores growing on top, hard as nails, preventing walking. Fragmented holes appear in the tibia with marrow flowing out, accompanied by body chills and a craving for alcohol. This is caused by the cold and hot qi of the Liver and Kidney devouring each other. Apply powder of processed Aconitum carmichaelii (Chuanwu) externally and decoct Allium tuberosum seeds (Jiu Zi) internally for efficacy.

This is caused by hair entering the stomach, wrapped by Qi and Blood, transforming into worms. Take 5 qian of Realgar (Xionghuang) powder mixed with water; the worms will exit. If alive, place in hot oil, then pour the oil and worms into the Yangtze River shortly after.

Many Lice Crying: Upon lying down, lice emerge all over the body, reaching about five bowls' worth, causing flesh and blood decay. Increasing nightly, the itching and pain are indescribable. Despite drinking water and lying in bed, the patient cries day and night, with continuous bleeding from the tongue tip, blackening of body and teeth, lip trembling, and nasal opening. Drinking salt-vinegar soup ten-plus times brings peace.
Red Eyes and Flared Nostrils: Eyes red, nostrils flared (dyspnea), spots on the body, hair standing straight. This is heat-toxin vapor condensing in the Lower Jiao. Powder equal amounts of Alum (Baifan) and Talcum (Huashi), one dose. Decoct in three bowls of water until half remains. Let the patient drink continuously until finished for peace.

Take one dose empty-stomached and one before bed, ten pills with water, to naturally fall off.

Rib Rupture and Intestine Protrusion: Ribs rupture, intestines protrude (foul odor). Immediately apply sesame oil to the intestines and push them back in manually. Decoct Ginseng radix (Renshen) and Lycium barbarum (Gouqi) to rinse; the skin will close. Eat lamb kidney porridge; heals in ten days.
Breath from Mouth and Nose: Breath spirals and does not dissipate, condensing into a black lid color. Asthma and Mutism: Sudden upward rushing of Qi causing asthma and inability to speak, with salivary flow and vomiting, shaking teeth. Excessive Qi exit leads to fainting; recovery follows similar symptoms. Named "Shanghan Bing Re Huoluan" (Cold Damage combined with Hot Cholera). Take 5 qian each of Ginseng radix (Renshen) and Rheum palmatum (Dahuang), decocted and taken hot for peace.
Flesh Ball in Mouth: A fleshy ball grows in the mouth, foul-smelling and repulsive to the self. A root line extends over five cun, like a hairpin. Take 1 qian of Moschus (Shexiang) powder mixed with water; effective in three days.
Stone in Sore: Whole-body sores resemble blisters or sand pears. Each ruptures to release water containing a stone plate the size of a fingernail. Without alcohol, he screams incessantly, eats nothing, and becomes emaciated. Bind his limbs with a towel to prevent movement, support him standing slightly. Open a jar of raw spicy wine near his mouth. The aroma enters his mouth, and he desperately wants to drink. Firmly prevent consumption. Suddenly, he vomits a lump directly into the jar. Seal the jar with paper, boil vigorously until half the wine evaporates. Opening it reveals a lump shaped like a pig liver, weighing about three liang, with countless needle-sized holes. Discard in the river. Diet returns to normal; he cannot drink even a drop thereafter.
Penetrated Tongue Center: Self-inflicted fall penetrates the center of the tongue, with continuous bleeding. Brush the wound with chicken feather dipped in rice vinegar to stop bleeding. Powder Rhizoma Polygonati (Puhuang), Apricot kernel (Xingren), and Borax (Pengsha). Mix with honey into a paste, hold in mouth to dissolve for peace.
Snake-like Edema: Edema on the body, head, and face resembles snakes. Use one qian of moss from raindrops on step bricks, dissolved in water, applied to the "snake's head"; swelling subsides spontaneously.
Smoke Inhalation Near Death: Charcoal smoke often causes death. Holding a slice of radish in the mouth prevents toxicity. Alternatively, dry and powder it for future use, or crush fresh radish in new water and drink. For residents trapped in stone rooms fumigated by enemies, chewing radish juice and swallowing restores consciousness.
