Women's hidden diseases refer to various disorders of the anterior yin (external genitalia). These include symptoms such as vulvar swelling (Yin Zhong), vulvar itching (Yin Yang), vulvar sores (Yin Chuang), uterine prolapse (Yin Ting), and pelvic organ prolapse (Xia Tuo). The swelling may present in various forms, resembling fungi, snakes, belts, or cockscombs, among others. Upon analyzing the etiology, these conditions are generally attributable to Damp-Heat (Shi Re). The ancient formula Jiwei Lu Hui Wan (Nine-Ingredient Aloe Pill) is indicated for treating this condition. If accompanied by Liver Fire (Gan Huo) triggered by anger, it can be supplemented with Jiawei Xiaoyao San (Modified Free and Easy Wanderer Powder). If Liver Meridian Damp-Heat is extremely severe, it can be supplemented with Longdan Xiegan Tang (Gentiana Decoction to Drain the Liver). If Spleen Qi is deficient and Middle Qi sinks, it can be supplemented with Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction). If excessive worry damages the Spleen, causing Spleen Qi stagnation, it can be supplemented with Jiawei Guipi Tang (Modified Restore the Spleen Decoction). If Kidney Water is insufficient, it can be supplemented with Liuwei Wan (Six-Ingredient Pill) plus Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis Radix) and Bai Shao (White Peony Root), which should hopefully yield successful results. Although these syndromes belong to Damp-Heat, patients often have weak Yuan Qi (Original Qi). If the root cause is neglected and cooling/clearing herbs are used exclusively, it may inevitably lead to Cold damaging the Stomach (Han Zhong).

Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, make pills using rice paste, with the size of hemp seeds. Take 1 qian or 1.5 qian per dose, washed down with boiled water.
