[Mai Jing] The Master said: If a woman has fetal abdominal pain and feels uneasy, if the fetal pathology is stationary, to determine life or death, have someone palpate the abdomen. If it feels like an inverted cup, it is a male fetus; if it protrudes unevenly like elbows or neck joints, it is a female fetus. Regarding where the cold is located: if cold, the fetus is dead; if warm, the fetus is alive.
