[2]凡手之三阴,从脏走手;手之三阳,从手走头;
足之三阴,从足走腹;足之三阳,从头走足。

Jia (Yang Wood) corresponds to the Gallbladder, Yi (Yin Wood) to the Liver, Bing (Yang Fire) to the Small Intestine; Ding (Yin Fire) to the Heart, Wu (Yang Earth) to the Stomach, Ji (Yin Earth) to the Spleen. Geng (Yang Metal) corresponds to the Large Intestine, Xin (Yin Metal) to the Lung; Ren (Yang Water) to the Bladder, Gui (Yin Water) to the Kidney.
The Sanjiao (Triple Burner), as a Yang Fu organ, must be assigned to Bing (Yang). The Pericardium, as a Yin Zang organ, follows alongside Ding (Yin Fire). Yang Heavenly Stems represent the Exterior and Fu organs, while Yin Heavenly Stems represent the Interior and Zang organs; thus, the Zang-Fu exterior-interior relationships are paired with Yin and Yang.
Note:
Old texts stated: "The Sanjiao also resides within Ren, and the Pericardium returns together with the eight Gui."
However, the Sanjiao is the official responsible for dredging waterways, so it can arguably be associated with Ren (Yang). But the Pericardium attaches to the Heart Master (Heart); how can it be said to belong to Gui (Yin)?
Moreover, these two organs (Sanjiao and Pericardium) form an interior-exterior pair and both govern Ministerial Fire (Xiang Huo); therefore, this has been corrected.
[Annotation 1] Jia, Bing, Wu, Geng, Ren are Yang Heavenly Stems; Yi, Ding, Ji, Xin, Gui are Yin Heavenly Stems.
[Annotation 2] Yang stems correspond to the Exterior and Fu organs, while Yin stems correspond to the Interior and Zang organs. Hence it is said: "The Zang-Fu exterior-interior relationships are matched with Yin and Yang."
Every day, circulation begins at Yin hour from the Lung Meridian, enters the Large Intestine Meridian at Mao hour, flows into the Stomach Meridian at Chen hour, enters the Spleen Meridian at Si hour, enters the Heart Meridian at Wu hour, and should flow into the Small Intestine Meridian at Wei hour.
Shen hour belongs to the Bladder Meridian, You hour to the Kidney Meridian; Xu hour moves to the Pericardium Meridian, Hai hour to the Sanjiao Palace; Zi hour to the Gallbladder Meridian, Chou hour to the Liver Meridian, and at Yin hour it returns to the Lung Meridian. The Twelve Meridians circulate continuously in a cycle.
[Annotation 1] Humans have twelve meridians, and there are twelve double-hours in a day and night; each meridian governs one double-hour.
[Annotation 2] It first begins at Yin hour entering the Lung Meridian, Mao hour enters the Large Intestine, Chen hour enters the Stomach, Si hour enters the Spleen, Wu hour enters the Heart,
Wei hour enters the Small Intestine, Shen hour enters the Bladder, You hour enters the Kidney, Xu hour enters the Pericardium, Hai hour enters the Sanjiao,
Zi hour enters the Gallbladder, Chou hour enters the Liver. When Yin hour arrives, it starts again from the Lung Meridian. This is how the Twelve Meridians and Twelve Double-hours circulate mutually.
Lung, Large Intestine, Stomach, Spleen, Heart, Small Intestine; Bladder, Kidney, Pericardium, Sanjiao, Gallbladder, Liver follow in sequence. Hand Yin meridians connect Zang organs and go to the hands; Hand Yang meridians connect the hands and go to the head. Foot Yin meridians connect the feet and go to the abdomen; Foot Yang meridians connect the head and go to the feet.
[Annotation 1] The regular meridians of the human body number twelve. Every morning at Yin hour, Ying Qi (Nutritive Qi) begins in the Middle Jiao,
flows upward into the Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian, emerging from the chest at Zhongfu (LU-1), reaching Shaoshang (LU-11),
and proceeds sequentially through the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian and other ten meridians, finally ending at the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian,
before restarting from the Taiyin Lung Meridian.
[2] Generally, the Three Hand Yin meridians travel from the Zang organs to the hands; the Three Hand Yang meridians travel from the hands to the head;
the Three Foot Yin meridians travel from the feet to the abdomen; the Three Foot Yang meridians travel from the head to the feet.
[3] They flow continuously without cessation, circulating endlessly.
