【注】头之正面分五行（音杭），其中行上嘴唇以上，属督脉
；下嘴唇以下，属任脉，此为中行也。其第二行，目内
眦旁上，属足太阳经，鼻旁下，属手阳明经，此为第二
行也。其第四行，面颧骨外旁，属手太阳经；头侧上，
属足少阳经；绕耳前后，属手少阳经，此为第四行也。
其第三行唇旁，属足阳明经，为第三行也。
【方歌】头后七行督中行，惟二足太足少阳，颈前任中二足明，
三手四行手太阳，五足少阳六是手，七足太阳督中行。
【注】头后项颈分七行，其中行属督脉，惟两旁第二行属足太
阳经，其余第三行、四行、五行，皆属足少阳经。颈前
中行属任脉，二行属足阳明经，三行属手阳明经，四行

[Verse] The front of the head is divided into five lines: the central line follows the Du Mai (Governor Vessel) and Ren Mai (Conception Vessel); beside the eye corners belongs to the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Channel; beside the zygomatic bone belongs to the Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Channel; the upper side of the head and surrounding the ears belong to the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Channel and Hand-Shaoyang Sanjiao Channel respectively; beside the nose belongs to the Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Channel; beside the lips belongs to the Foot-Yangming Stomach Channel.
[Note] The front of the head is divided into five lines (pronounced "hang"). The central line, located above the upper lip, belongs to the Du Mai (Governor Vessel); below the lower lip, it belongs to the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel). This constitutes the central line. The second line, extending upward beside the inner canthus of the eye, belongs to the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Channel; downward beside the nose, it belongs to the Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Channel. This constitutes the second line. The fourth line, lateral to the zygomatic bone, belongs to the Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Channel; on the upper side of the head laterally, it belongs to the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Channel; encircling the anterior and posterior aspects of the ear, it belongs to the Hand-Shaoyang Sanjiao Channel. This constitutes the fourth line. The third line, beside the lips, belongs to the Foot-Yangming Stomach Channel. This constitutes the third line.
[Verse] The back of the head is divided into seven lines: the central line belongs to the Du Mai (Governor Vessel); only the second lines on both sides belong to the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Channel; the middle two lines at the front of the neck belong to the Foot-Yangming Stomach Channel; the third and fourth lines belong to the Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Channel; the fifth line belongs to the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Channel; the sixth line belongs to the Hand-Shaoyang Sanjiao Channel; the seventh line belongs to the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Channel; the central line at the nape belongs to the Du Mai (Governor Vessel).

[Verse] The chest and abdomen have two lines belonging to the Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Channel; the third line belongs to the Foot-Yangming Stomach Channel; the fourth line belongs to the Foot-Taiyin Spleen Channel; the fifth line belongs to the Foot-Jueyin Liver Channel; the sixth line belongs to the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Channel; the second and third lines of the spine and back belong to the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Channel.
