[Formula Song] The Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian originates at the lateral end of the little finger, follows the lateral posterior aspect of the arm to the anterior aspect of the ankle bone, emerges from the elbow on the lateral side,
ascends along the posterior lateral aspect of the upper arm, passes behind the shoulder joint and winds around the scapula, crosses the shoulder and penetrates the neck to reach the side of the mandible angle;
on the face, points are located in the depression below the zygomatic bone, and the pearl-like acupoints in the ear constitute the complete set of meridian points.
[Note] The Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian (Shou Taiyang Xiao Chang Jing) begins at the lateral tip of the little finger, approximately the width of a leek leaf from the nail corner, travels from the lateral hand to the anterior aspect of the wrist/ankle bone, runs along the posterior lateral aspect of the elbow, ascends along the lateral aspect of the upper arm passing the posterior shoulder margin, and rises to the shoulder; from the shoulder it penetrates the neck, passes obliquely upward past the mandibular angle to the zygomatic bone, ending before the ear.
[Formula Song] The Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian (Zu Taiyang Pang Guang Jing) originates at the inner canthus of the eye, ascends to the forehead and intersects at the vertex, is sought behind the ear, descends to the nape, follows the medial aspect of the shoulder blade,
runs parallel to the spine to reach the waist, then descends through the buttocks. Through the buttocks it enters obliquely into the Weizhong (BL40) point, its branch descends to converge in the popliteal fossa,
passes through the calf medially emerging posterior to the lateral malleolus, and terminates at the Zhiyin (BL67) point on the lateral side of the little toe.
[Note] The Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian (Zu Taiyang Pang Guang Jing) originates at the inner canthus of the eye, ascends to the forehead and intersects at the vertex, proceeds from the vertex to the upper angle of the ear
and moves backward, descends to the nape following the medial aspect of the shoulder blade, having two pathways: one pathway runs parallel to the spine 1.5 cun lateral, reaching the middle of the waist; there are four spaces in the waist, descending from the waist middle through the buttocks into the popliteal fossa; the other pathway diverges left and right from the medial shoulder, descends through the scapula, runs parallel to the spine internally 3 cun lateral, descends past the hip pivot (Hua Tuo Jia Ji area/Huan Tiao region), follows the posterior lateral aspect of the thigh, converges in the popliteal fossa, then passes through the calf medially, emerges posterior to the lateral malleolus, follows the Jinggu (BL64) point to the lateral end of the little toe, approximately the width of a leek leaf from the nail corner, terminating at the Zhiyin (BL67) point.
[Formula Song] The Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian (Zu Shaoyin Shen Jing) originates at the center of the sole, ascends via the medial malleolus and the heel of the foot, goes up through the gastrocnemius muscle emerging from the popliteal fossa into the
medial aspect of the thigh, reaching the middle of the chest to terminate.
[Note] The Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian (Zu Shaoyin Shen Jing) originates in the depression at the center of the sole, follows the medial malleolus into the heel of the foot, above the medial malleolus,
within the separation of the gastrocnemius muscle, emerges from the medial aspect of the popliteal fossa and the medial aspect of the thigh, ascending to the inguinal crease; from the inguinal crease it ascends, 1 cun lateral to the anterior midline reaching the umbilicus; from beside the umbilicus it ascends,
then 1.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline; ascending from the abdomen to the chest, terminating 2 cun lateral to the midline.
