Hematuria originating from the essence orifice (Jing Qiao, referring to the urethra in males or related reproductive/urinary pathways) often stems from pathology in this area. When urinating, urine and blood are discharged separately, possibly accompanied by pain in the penis or urethra. It should be treated with Niuxi Siwu Tang (Achyranthes Bidentata and Four Substances Decoction). It is urgent to decoct and take it promptly for effective results.
[Note]
Hematuria from the essence orifice is a disease of the Jing Qiao, characterized by the sequential discharge of urine and blood.
It is suitable to treat it with Niuxi Siwu Tang, after which the condition will heal itself.

In children, heat accumulation causing constipation of both bowels (feces and urine), thirst, dry tongue, and redness of lips and face: if accompanied by urinary retention and fullness in the lower abdomen, Ba Zheng San (Eight Corrects Powder) is indicated; if accompanied by fecal constipation and abdominal distension/pain, Shenxiong Wan (Shenxiong Pill) is indicated.
[Note]
This syndrome often arises from retained milk and food generating internal heat, accumulating in the intestines and stomach, leading to obstruction of both bowel movements.
The symptoms include a dry tongue, thirst, reddish face, and cracked lips.
Heat accumulation causes difficult and scanty urination with urgency and fullness in the lower abdomen; Ba Zheng San is the primary treatment.
If fecal constipation and abdominal distension/pain result from food stagnation, Shenxiong Wan is the primary treatment.
(Ba Zheng San) See formula under "Urinary Retention".
(Shenxiong Wan) Rheum Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang) and Talcum (Huashi), each 1 liang (processed by water flotation); Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) and Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), each 4 qian; Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin) and Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), each 5 qian (raw); Pharbitidis Semen (Qianniu), 4 qian. Grind all into fine powder, add water drop by drop to form pills. Take 5 pills per dose, dissolved and taken with honeyed water.

Prolonged diarrhea and dysentery cause sinking of Middle Qi (Zhong Qi), resulting in loose anus, thin intestinal walls, and prolapse. The complexion is greenish-yellow, fingertips are cold, pulse is deep and fine, and lips are pale white.
Treatment involves using Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction) to lift and raise, or Zhenren Yangzang Tang (True Man's Nourishing Viscera Decoction) to secure and stop leakage. Externally apply Sichang San (Intestine Securing Powder). As Qi rises, the anus tightens, and the intestine naturally retracts.
[Note]
Anal prolapse occurs due to prolonged diarrhea and dysentery causing Middle Qi to sink, making the intestines and stomach thin and emaciated, leading to the anus slipping out and failing to retract.
Current symptoms include greenish-yellow complexion, cold fingertips, deep and fine pulse, and pale white lips.
Treatment should focus on warming and tonifying. First, use Buzhong Yiqi Tang to lift the Qi, then use Zhenren Yangzang Tang to warm, tonify, and secure against leakage.
Externally apply Sichang San powder to the protruding part; as Qi ascends and the anus tightens, the intestine will naturally retract.
(Buzhong Yiqi Tang) See formula under "Sundry Diarrhea".
(Zhenren Yangzang Tang) See formula under "Cold Dysentery".
(Sichang San) Terminalia Chebulae Fructus (Hezi), Kaolin (Chishizhi), and Dragon Bone (Longgu), equal parts (calcined). Grind the above into fine powder.
Mix with aged tea powder for application, sprinkle the medicine onto the prolapsed rectum, and gently rub it back in using silk cloth.
