Translation:
The Jinggong (Sperm Palace) acupoint is located below the fourteenth thoracic vertebra, three cun lateral to the midline on both sides. Moxibustion of seven moxa cones on each of the left and right points yields extraordinary efficacy in treating nocturnal seminal emission due to dreams.
Note: [1] For treating nocturnal seminal emission, moxibustion should be applied to the Jinggong acupoint. This point is located below the fourteenth thoracic vertebra, three cun lateral to the spine on either side (Figure 100).
Translation:
The Guiyan (Ghost Eye) acupoint is used to treat tuberculosis caused by "labor worms" (tubercle bacilli). Mark the slight depression on both sides of the patient's waist with ink. Select the Hai hour on a Guihai day for moxibustion; do not let the patient know, as this method is most effective.
Note: [1] Tuberculosis that persists for a long time and is contagious is attributed to internal "labor worms"; moxibustion of the Guiyan acupoint is appropriate.
[2] The acupoint is located on both sides of the waist, appearing as a slight depression when standing upright. Mark it with ink. Have the patient lie prone. Apply small moxa cones, seven, nine, or eleven cones, depending on the patient's constitution. The worms will be expelled through vomiting or diarrhea; collect them immediately, burn them, and discard them far away to prevent reinfection.
[3] Choose the Hai hour at midnight on a Guihai day, when the six deities converge. Perform moxibustion then; do not allow the patient to know beforehand, lest the corpse spirit become aware (Figure 101).
Translation:
The Pigen (Stagnation Root) acupoint is located below the twelfth thoracic vertebra, three cun and five fen lateral to the midline on both sides. Moxibustion of seven moxa cones on each of the left and right points can eradicate stubborn abdominal masses.
Note: [1] For treating abdominal masses, moxibustion should be applied to the Pigen acupoint. This point is located below the twelfth thoracic vertebra, three cun and half a cun lateral to the spine.
[2] If the mass is on the left, moxibustion is applied to the left; if on the right, to the right. If present on both sides, apply moxibustion to both (Figure 102).
Translation:
The Qixue (Odd Acupoint) at the tip of the elbow is suitable for moxibustion in both men and women suffering from scrofula (tuberculous lymphadenitis). For lesions on the left, moxibustion is applied to the right point; for lesions on the right, to the left point. Concurrently applying moxibustion to Fengchi (Wind Pool) enhances efficacy.
Note: [1] The Qixue at the elbow tip treats scrofula; left-sided lesions are treated by moxibustion on the right point, and right-sided lesions on the left point.
[2] In early stages, men should have the left point treated first, and women the right point first. Concurrent moxibustion on Fengchi (Wind Pool) is particularly effective.
[3] Fengchi (Wind Pool) is located behind the temporal region, within the depression at the hairline (Figure 103).
