Method of Aconite Fumigation
14. Flesh protuberances within the vagina are named Yin Hemorrhoids (Yin Zhi, perianal/vaginal hemorrhoids), also commonly known as "Eggplant Disease." Discharge of yellow fluid is easy to treat; discharge of white fluid is difficult to treat. Use Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Wutou, 乌头) preserved by burning (burned until the exterior is charred but the interior retains medicinal properties), boiled in vinegar for fumigation. Internally administer Xiaoyao San (Free and Easy Wanderer Powder) or Longdan Xiegan Tang (Gentian Liver-Draining Decoction);酌情 (discretionarily) administer Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction) and Guipi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction).
[Note] When a woman has flesh protuberances protruding from the vagina, it is called Yin Hemorrhoids, commonly known as Eggplant Disease. Those with yellow discharge are easy to treat; those with white discharge are difficult to treat. Burn Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Wutou, 乌头) until it preserves its nature, boil in strong vinegar, and fumigate. Internally administer Xiaoyao San (Free and Easy Wanderer Powder), Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction), and Guipi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction), judging their deficiency or excess, and act accordingly.
The formulas for Xiaoyao San (Free and Easy Wanderer Powder), Guipi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction), and Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction) are all found in the first volume.
Warm-Middle Vaginal Suppository
15. Coldness in the vagina occurs when Wind-Cold pathogens invade the Uterus (Zizang, 子脏) due to deficiency; Gui Fu Di Huang Wan (Cinnamon Twig and Rehmannia Pill) is most suitable. Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, 远志), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Ganjiang, 干姜), Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi, 蛇床子), and Evodiae Fructus (Wuyu, 吴茱萸) are ground into powder, wrapped, and inserted into the vagina.
[Note] Vaginal coldness in women is caused by Wind-Cold invading the Uterus (Zizang, 子脏) through vacuity. Over time, blood coagulation and Qi stagnation occur, easily transforming into other syndromes, and making conception difficult. It is advisable to frequently take Gui Fu Di Huang Wan (Cinnamon Twig and Rehmannia Pill). Externally, grind Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, 远志), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Ganjiang, 干姜), Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi, 蛇床子), and Evodiae Fructus (Wuyu, 吴茱萸) into fine powder, wrap in cotton cloth, and insert into the vagina, changing twice daily.
The formula for Gui Fu Di Huang Wan (Cinnamon Twig and Rehmannia Pill) is found in the first volume.
Pig Fat and Hair Decoction
16. Stomach Qi leaking downward causes vaginal flatulence (Yinchui Xuan, 阴吹喧); the *Jin Gui Yao Lue* (Essential Prescriptions from the Golden Cabinet) uses Gaofa Jian (Fat and Hair Decoction). Pig fat (Zhigao, 猪膏) and disordered hair (Luanfa, 乱发) are decocted together and taken orally. This method guides the pathogen out via urination, which is very profound. If there is Qi deficiency with sinking, major tonification treatment is needed; add Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 升麻) and Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, 柴胡) to lift the sinking Qi.
[Note] Vaginal flatulence in women refers to gas occasionally emitting from the vagina with sound, resembling anal flatus. The *Jin Gui Yao Lue* (Essential Prescriptions from the Golden Cabinet) states this is due to fullness of Grain Qi and downward leakage of Stomach Qi. Use Gaofa Jian (Fat and Hair Decoction), which is pig fat decocted with disordered hair. Guiding the disease out through urination is a profound method. If there is severe deficiency of Qi and Blood with sinking of Middle Qi, use Shiquan Dabu Tang (Complete Great Tonifying Decoction) plus Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 升麻) and Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, 柴胡) to lift and raise.
The formula for Shiquan Dabu Tang (Complete Great Tonifying Decoction) is found in the first volume.
