According to the *Bingyuan Lun* (Treatise on the Origins and Manifestations of All Diseases): Enuresis occurs due to cold in the Bladder, which fails to control water.
The *Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold): Moxibustion at one and a half cun below the umbilicus, with the number of moxa cones (Zhuang) corresponding to the child's age.
Another prescription: Crush the leaves of Vigna angularis (Adzuki bean), extract the juice, and administer orally.
The *Ge Shi Fang*: Burn the nesting material from a swallow's nest, consume one Qianbi (a small measuring spoon for powder), and the condition will heal.
According to the *Bingyuan Lun*: While in the womb, if the mother's Zang-Fu Qi has heat, it steams and influences the fetus; after birth, the infant's body turns yellow, known as Tai Dan (Neonatal Jaundice).
The *Qianjin Fang* prescription for treating yellowing of the infant's body: Crush the roots of Trichosanthes cucumerina (Tu Gua Gen), extract five He of juice, and administer orally.
Another prescription: Administer Qing Mai Jiang (Juice of young wheat).
Another prescription: Crush the roots of Chinese chive (Jiu Gen), extract the juice, and drip into the infant's nose and mouth, in an amount equivalent to a soybean.
According to the *Bingyuan Lun*: When infants sweat, they are injured by Wind-Evil and Heat-Toxin, which contend with Blood and Qi. The Heat steams outward, causing the flesh to turn red accompanied by high fever; this is what is referred to as Chi Ci (Red Spots/Rashes).
The *Qianjin Fang* prescription for treating red spots on the infant's body:
Fry rice flour until black, mix with saliva, and apply topically.
Another prescription: Mix Fu Long Gan (Stove Earth), Luan Fa Hui (Ash of tangled hair), and Zhu Zhi (Pork Fat), and apply topically.
The *Ge Shi Fang*: Burn cow dung and apply topically.

According to the *Bingyuan Lun*: When infants sweat, their Cou Li (pores and skin texture) open, allowing Cold-Wind to invade. Cold contends with Blood and settles in areas where the muscles are deficient, causing Blood and Qi to become stagnant and sluggish, failing to nourish the skin. As Cold-Wind lodges in the abdominal skin, it appears blue-black.
The *Qianjin Fang* prescription for sudden blue-black discoloration of the infant's abdominal skin:
Moxibustion above, below, left, and right of the umbilicus, each half a cun away from the umbilicus, and one cun below the Jiwei point (CV15), totaling five locations, three Zhuang per location.
Another prescription: Mix Hu Fen (Lead Carbonate) with wine and apply topically. If not treated urgently, death will occur shortly.
According to the *Bingyuan Lun*: Due to disharmony of Blood and Qi in infants, the muscles change color to red, spreading gradually without fixed boundaries, sometimes the size of a coin, or wide up to three or four cun. [Note: The *Bingyuan Lun* lacks a treatment prescription for Lan Zhu (Blue Injection/Spots) in infants.]
The *Qianjin Fang* prescription for treating red blemishes or red-black patches on the infant's body: Extract blood from the father's foot and apply it to the blemish; it will gradually fade.
Another prescription: Apply fresh feces from a hot dog; the skin will naturally curl and fall off.
