《产经》云∶夫生之与死，夭之与寿，正在产乳藏胞。凡在产者，岂可不慎。敬神畏天
者，典坟之所崇；避难推祸者，诸贤之所务也。是以顺天道者昌，逆地理者亡。古之常道也。
余以暗塞究搜百家之要，藏胞之道术于此备矣。使产生之场几得无咎也。
凡欲藏胞胎者，可先详视十二月图，算多处者有寿；算少处者不寿。或算多，地者忌神
并者亦当避之。次取算多亦吉。又既得寿地，其日恶者，待以良日乃埋之，吉。又，虽为寿
处，必得高燥向阳之地，能者寿长、智高、富贵无极也。其高燥地者，达近自在无苦。
又云∶《经》曰∶欲藏产子胞胎者，先视十二月神图，八神，诸神在方，不可KT （至
也）犯，犯之咎重，不可不慎。
又云∶未KT 子曰，凡欲藏子胞，直就天德月德之地者，子必富贵寿老无疾，最吉之
地，故其利万倍也。若不得天德月德者，天道人道地亦吉，其利百倍。又不得此地者，亦可
用反向大吉之地，亦吉利。若虽是吉地，而与恶神并者，不可藏胞，夫言吉地者，谓之无凶。
故虽云吉地而与恶神并者，此为凶地，宜慎择之。今按∶藏胞衣法不载月图。但避八神等所
在之凶地，取天德月德等吉方∶
正月藏胞衣∶丁地吉，年一百，（即天德地；）丑地年百十而月杀并在，亦小儿祸害地，
故不成其善，他皆效此。
又，日虚月德在丙，天道在辛。
二月藏胞衣∶人门地吉，年九十，（即天德人道地；）天门鬼门虽有吉神而是小儿祸害绝
命之地，故不吉；丑地寿多而小儿行年所立之地，故不可犯KT （都奚反）凶也。又，乙
丁辛地无恶神，可用之。
三月藏胞衣∶庚地吉，年九十二，（即天德人道地。）又壬地大吉，（是天道地。）又丁地
吉。
四月藏胞衣∶辛地吉，年八十，（是天德人道地，）又丁地，（是天道。）
五月藏胞衣∶干地吉，年九十一，（是天德人道地。）又乙辛地无恶神。
六月藏胞衣∶壬地吉，年七十八，（是天德人道地。）又乙辛地无恶神。
七月藏胞衣∶癸地吉，年七十八，（是天德人道地。）又辛地（天道，）壬地大吉。
八月藏胞衣∶艮地鬼门吉，年八十六，（是天德人道地。）又乙丁辛地无恶神。
九月藏胞衣∶甲地吉，年八十五，（是天德人道地。）又丙地大吉（天道。）又丁癸地无
恶神。
十月藏胞衣∶乙地吉，年八十四，（即天德人道地。）又甲地大吉月德。癸地（天道。）
丁地无恶神。
十一月藏胞衣∶巽地，户地吉，年百二十，（天德人道地。）又乙辛癸地无恶神。
十二月藏胞衣∶丙地吉，年百天德人道地。又乙辛地无恶神。
According to the *Chanjing* (Classic of Childbirth): Life and death, premature death and longevity, depend entirely on childbirth and the burial of the placenta. For those involved in childbirth, how can one not be cautious? Reverence for spirits and awe of Heaven are esteemed in canonical texts; avoiding disasters and repelling misfortunes is the endeavor of sages. Therefore, those who conform to the Way of Heaven prosper, while those who violate the principles of Earth perish. This is an eternal principle.
I, with my dull nature, have exhaustively searched through the essentials of a hundred schools of thought. The methods and arts regarding the burial of the placenta are fully presented here, so that the place of childbirth may hopefully suffer no blame.
Generally, those wishing to bury the fetal membranes should first carefully examine the Twelve-Month Diagram. If the calculation shows many auspicious spots, there will be longevity; if few, there will be lack of longevity. Even if there are many auspicious spots, if they coincide with taboo deities (Jishen), one must avoid them. Secondly, selecting spots with more auspicious calculations is also favorable. Furthermore, even if one obtains a spot for longevity, if the day is unfavorable, one should wait for an auspicious day to bury it, which is lucky. Moreover, even in a spot for longevity, one must choose high, dry, and sun-facing land. Doing so ensures that descendants will live long, possess high wisdom, and enjoy boundless wealth and honor. Those in high, dry lands will be free and without suffering.
It is also said: The Classics state: To bury the placenta after childbirth, first view the Twelve-Month Deity Diagram. The Eight Deities and other gods occupy specific directions; do not offend (reach) them. Offending brings heavy blame, so caution is essential.
It is also said: Before offending the Zi position, generally when burying the fetal membranes, directly going to the places of Tiande (Heavenly Virtue) and Yuede (Monthly Virtue) ensures the child will be wealthy, noble, long-lived, and healthy without disease. This is the most auspicious place, yielding benefits ten thousand times greater. If Tiande and Yuede places cannot be obtained, places of Tiandao (Heavenly Way) and Rendao (Human Way) are also auspicious, yielding benefits a hundred times greater. If these cannot be obtained, one may use the opposite direction's highly auspicious places, which are also lucky. Although a place is auspicious, if it coincides with evil deities, the placenta must not be buried. An "auspicious place" refers to one without ominous signs. Thus, even if called auspicious, if it coincides with evil deities, it is considered an inauspicious place, and careful selection is required.
Now, examining the method for burying the placenta: It does not record the Monthly Diagram. Instead, it avoids the inauspicious places of the Eight Deities and selects auspicious directions such as Tiande and Yuede:
For the first month, burying the placenta: Ding direction is auspicious, lifespan 100 years (this is the Tiande place); Chou direction has 110 years, but the Monthly Killer (Yuesha) coincides, making it a place of harm for children, so it is not good. Other months follow this example.
Additionally, Rixu (Day Void) and Yuede are in Bing, and Tiandao is in Xin.
For the second month, burying the placenta: Renmen (Human Gate) direction is auspicious, lifespan 90 years (this is the Tiande-Rendao place); Tianmen (Heaven Gate) and Guimen (Ghost Gate) have auspicious gods but are places of harm and severed life for children, so they are not auspicious; Chou direction has many years of life but is where the child's annual fortune stands, so one must not offend (du xi fan) the inauspiciousness. Additionally, Yi, Ding, and Xin directions have no evil gods and can be used.
For the third month, burying the placenta: Geng direction is auspicious, lifespan 92 years (this is the Tiande-Rendao place). Additionally, Ren direction is highly auspicious (it is the Tiandao place). Additionally, Ding direction is auspicious.
For the fourth month, burying the placenta: Xin direction is auspicious, lifespan 80 years (it is the Tiande-Rendao place), additionally Ding direction (it is the Tiandao).
For the fifth month, burying the placenta: Qian direction is auspicious, lifespan 91 years (it is the Tiande-Rendao place). Additionally, Yi and Xin directions have no evil gods.
For the sixth month, burying the placenta: Ren direction is auspicious, lifespan 78 years (it is the Tiande-Rendao place). Additionally, Yi and Xin directions have no evil gods.
For the seventh month, burying the placenta: Gui direction is auspicious, lifespan 78 years (it is the Tiande-Rendao place). Additionally, Xin direction (Tiandao), Ren direction is highly auspicious.
For the eighth month, burying the placenta: Gen direction Ghost Gate is auspicious, lifespan 86 years (it is the Tiande-Rendao place). Additionally, Yi, Ding, and Xin directions have no evil gods.
For the ninth month, burying the placenta: Jia direction is auspicious, lifespan 85 years (it is the Tiande-Rendao place). Additionally, Bing direction is highly auspicious (Tiandao). Additionally, Ding and Gui directions have no evil gods.
For the tenth month, burying the placenta: Yi direction is auspicious, lifespan 84 years (this is the Tiande-Rendao place). Additionally, Jia direction is highly auspicious with Yuede. Gui direction (Tiandao). Ding direction has no evil gods.
For the eleventh month, burying the placenta: Xun direction, Hu (Door) direction is auspicious, lifespan 120 years (Tiande-Rendao place). Additionally, Yi, Xin, and Gui directions have no evil gods.
For the twelfth month, burying the placenta: Bing direction is auspicious, lifespan 100 years, Tiande-Rendao place. Additionally, Yi and Xin directions have no evil gods.
