而痛，惕然自惊，或笑或歌，或怒无常，或干呕心烦，耳闻风雨声，面色白，口中如含霜雪，
言语无声，剧者吐血方∶

上一十三味，以水一斗二升，煮桑白皮及八升，去滓，纳药煮取三升，分三服。
主肺气虚竭，不足乏气，胸中干，口中辟辟干方∶
麻黄（去节） 橘皮（各二两） 小麦（一升）
上三味， 咀，以水五升，煮取一升半，分再服。
主肺气不足而短气，咳唾脓血不得卧方∶
人参 生姜（切） 桂心（各二两） 阿胶（炙） 紫菀（各一两） 干地黄（四两） 桑
根白皮
上八味， 咀，以水一斗五升，煮桑根白皮二十沸，去滓纳药，煮取二升五合，次纳饴
糖令烊，分三服。
主伤中肺气不足，胁下痛上气，咳唾脓血，不欲食，恶风，目视 ，足胫肿

Indicated for deficiency of Lung Qi, presenting with rebellious Qi, fullness in the chest and abdomen, coughing and wheezing with Qi rushing to the throat, obstruction in the throat, coughing with shortness of breath, Qi rising from the back, sometimes accompanied by pain, sudden fright and self-startled sensation, or laughing or singing spontaneously, or uncontrolled anger, or dry retching and vexation, hearing wind and rain sounds, pale complexion, sensation of frost and snow in the mouth, inability to speak, and in severe cases, hemoptysis. Formula:
Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi) [3 liang] Ophiopogonis Radix (Maimendong) [4 liang, heart removed] Leucostylbitum (Baishiyin) [2 liang 9 zhu] Oryza Sativa Var. Japonica Semen (Jingmi) [3 he] Asteris Radix et Rhizoma (Ziwan) Zingiberis Rhizoma (Ganjiang)
Symphyti Flos (Kuandonghua) [each 2 liang] Morus Albae Cortex Radicis (Sangbaipipi) Ginsengis Radix (Renshen) Stalactitum (Zhongru) (crushed) Phyllostachys Viridis Caulis (Zhuyeqie) [each 1 liang] Jujubae Fructus (Dazao) [40 pieces, split] Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guixin)
Thirteen ingredients above. Decoct with 1 dou 2 sheng of water, first decoct Sangbaipipi until 8 sheng remains, strain, add remaining herbs, decoct to obtain 3 sheng, divide into three doses.
Indicated for exhaustion of Lung Qi, insufficiency of breath, dryness in the chest, and extreme dryness in the mouth. Formula:
Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang) (devoid of nodes) Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi) [each 2 liang] Tritici Vulgaris Semen (Xiaomai) [1 sheng]
Three ingredients above. Cut into small pieces, decoct with 5 sheng of water to obtain 1.5 sheng, divide into two doses.
Indicated for shortness of breath due to deficiency of Lung Qi, coughing up pus and blood, inability to lie flat. Formula:
Ginsengis Radix (Renshen) Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang) (sliced) Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guixin) [each 2 liang] Ecor Colla (Ejiao) (roasted) Asteris Radix et Rhizoma (Ziwan) [each 1 liang] Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Shengdihuang) [4 liang] Morus Albae Cortex Radicis (Sanggenbaipipi)
Eight ingredients above. Cut into small pieces, decoct with 1 dou 5 sheng of water, first boil Sanggenbaipipi for twenty boils, strain, add other herbs, decoct to obtain 2.5 sheng 5 he, then add Malt Sugar (Yitang) to melt, divide into three doses.
Indicated for injury to the middle causing deficiency of Lung Qi, pain under the hypochondrium, rebellious Qi, coughing up pus and blood, loss of appetite, aversion to wind, blurred vision, and swelling of the lower legs. Formula:
Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengdihuang) [half jin, sliced] Morus Albae Cortex Radicis (Sanggenbaipipi) [3 sheng, sliced] Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang) [5 lei] Gelatinum Corii Asini (Baijiao) [5 ting] Cannabis Fructus (Maziren) Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Xiongxiong)
[each 1 sheng] Asteris Radix et Rhizoma (Ziwan) [3 liang] Triticum aestivum seed (Maizhong) Malt Sugar (Yitang) [each 1 sheng] Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guixin) [2 chi] Ginsengis Radix (Renshen) Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (roasted) [each 1 liang]
Twelve ingredients above. Cut into small pieces, decoct with 2 dou of water, first decoct Sanggenbaipipi to obtain 7 sheng, strain, add other herbs, decoct to obtain 5 sheng, clarify and strain again, add Malt Sugar (Yitang) and decoct to reduce to 3 sheng, divide into three doses.
