上三十二味，先以水浸膏髓等五日。日满别再易水，自后每隔五日一易水，阅二十日止。
以酒一升 羊 令消尽去脉。乃细切香于磁器中，密封一宿。晓以诸脂等合煎，三上三下，
以酒水气尽为候。即以绵布绞去滓，研之千遍，待凝乃止。使白如雪，每夜涂面。昼则洗却，
更涂新者，十日以后，色等桃花。

Several *Bufo bufo gargarizans* (Toad, 癞虾蟆), remove the head and hang them upside down to let blood flow out. Catch the blood in a bowl until about one cup is collected, then pour it into the throat. After a certain period, the iron needle will be expelled along with mucus, becoming naturally soft and curved.
Several *Gryllotalpa orientalis* (Mole Cricket, 蝼蛄), crush them and apply the paste to the swollen area on the outside of the throat; the swelling will subside naturally.

Take the above thirty-two ingredients. First, soak the fats and marrow in water for five days. After five days, change the water again. Thereafter, change the water every five days, continuing this process for twenty days.
Boil the sheep fat in one sheng of wine until completely melted, removing the tendons. Then finely chop the fragrant herbs in a porcelain vessel, seal tightly, and leave overnight. At dawn, combine all the fats and decoct them together using the "three ups and three downs" method (heating to boiling, removing from heat, cooling slightly, and repeating three times), until the aroma of wine and moisture have evaporated. Strain the residue through cotton cloth, grind the extract a thousand times, until it solidifies. The resulting ointment should be white as snow. Apply to the face every night. Wash off during the day and reapply fresh ointment. After ten days, the complexion will resemble peach blossoms.
*Dermatophaga* (Baixianpi, 白鲜皮), *Bombyx batryticatus* (Baijiangcan, 白僵蚕), *Aconitum carmichaelii* processed (Baifuzi, 白附子), *Ligusticum chuanxiong* (Xiong, 芎), *Columbae Excrement Album* (Yingshi Bai, 鹰屎白), *Angelica dahurica* (Baizhi, 白芷), *Aquilaria agallocha* (Qingmuxiang, 青木香), *Nardostachys jatamansi* (Gansongxiang, 甘松香), *Atractylodes macrocephala* (Baizhu, 白术), *Santalum album* (Baitanxiang, 白檀香), *Syzygium aromaticum* (Dingxiangzi, 丁香子) each 3 fen, *Benincasa hispida* seed (Dongguaren, 冬瓜仁) 5 he, *Prunus mume* (Baimei, 白梅, pitted) 14 pieces, *Cucumis melo* seed (Guazi, 瓜子) 1 liang, *Prunus armeniaca* seed (Xingren, peeled) 30 pieces, *Ovum Gallus Domestici Album* (Jizi Bai, 鸡子白) 7 pieces.
Take the above twenty ingredients. First, mix with pig fat and flour, sun-dry until dry. Then crush and sieve the herbs together. Finally, mix with two sheng of white bean powder to make a powder. Use in the morning to wash the face and hands; the complexion will become white and flawless.
Many patients present with facial impurities resembling bird eggs, commonly known as freckles. Boil *Atractylodes macrocephala* (Baizhu, 白术) in vinegar and frequently wipe the face with it; the freckles will gradually disappear. Alternatively, take one fresh egg, pierce it to remove the yolk, place one liang of Cinnabar powder (Zhuma, 朱末) inside, seal with lacquer, incubate under a hen, invert to collect the liquid, and apply to the face. The freckles will disappear immediately.
