巴豆 杏仁各七枚 印成盐两颗 生地黄（极粗者）长一寸半 头发鸡子大（烧灰）
上五味冶下筛，以绵薄裹纳耳中，一日一夜，若小损即去之，直以物塞耳中，俟黄水及
脓出，渐渐有效，不得更着。一宿后更纳，一日一夜还去之，根据前。
细辛 菖蒲 杏仁 曲末各十铢
上和捣为丸，干即着少猪脂，取如枣核大，绵裹纳耳中，日一易，小瘥，二日一易，夜
去旦塞。
蓖麻子五分 杏仁四分 桃仁（去皮尖熬）四分 巴豆（去皮熬）一枚 石盐三分 附
子（炮）
先捣菖蒲、石盐、磁石、通草、附子、薰陆香成末。别捣蓖麻子等四味，乃纳松脂、蜡，
捣一千杵。可捻作丸如枣核大，绵裹塞耳中，日四、五度，抽出别捻之，三日一易，以瘥为
度
生雄鲤鱼脑八分 当归 菖蒲 细辛 白芷 附子各六铢
先将各药捣末，次以鱼脑合煎。三沸三下之，膏香为成，去滓候冷。以一枣核大纳耳中，
以绵塞之，取瘥。
鼠胆一具 龙齿一分 龙脑 麝香 朱砂各一分 乳香 潮脑各半分
上研成极细末，人乳为丸，大如桐子，裹以丝绵，塞入耳中，以不可受而止。三日后取
出，耳聪，永不复聋。
Drop the blood from the comb of a male chicken into the eye. When red threads (blood vessels in the eye) are seen, roll them away immediately. This prescription is extremely effective.
New mulberry root bark:
Wash clean and pound into a paste. Apply to the eye and manipulate; it is very beneficial.
Hua Tuo's Divine Prescription for Ear Diseases
* Semen Crotonis (Badou), Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren): 7 each.
* Salt formed into seals (Yinchengyan): 2 pieces.
* Radix Rehmanniae Recens (Sheng Dihuang) (the thickest kind): 1.5 cun long.
* Hair (burned to ash): quantity equal to an egg.
Pulverize the above five ingredients and sift. Wrap thinly in cotton and insert into the ear. Leave for one day and one night. If there is slight discomfort, remove it. Plug the ear with an object directly, waiting for yellow fluid and pus to discharge. It will gradually become effective; do not apply again. After one night, re-insert. Remove after one day and one night, following the previous method.
* Radix Asari (Xixin), Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii (Changpu), Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren), Qu end (Qumo): 10 zhu each.
Mix well and pound into pills. If dry, add a small amount of lard. Take a size like a jujube pit, wrap in cotton, and insert into the ear. Change once daily. When symptoms slightly improve, change every two days. Remove at night and insert in the morning.
* Fructus Ricini (Bimazi): 5 fen.
* Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren): 4 fen.
* Semen Persicae (Taoren) (peeled, core removed, stir-fried): 4 fen.
* Semen Crotonis (Badou) (peeled, stir-fried): 1 piece.
* Halituss Lapis (Shiyan): 3 fen.
* Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Fuzi) (prepared/pao): [quantity implied as per context or standard proportion, text lists ingredients].
First, pulverize Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii (Changpu), Halituss Lapis (Shiyan), Magnetitum (Cishi), Caulis Tetrapanacis (Tongcao), Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Fuzi), and Olibanum (Xunluxiang). Separately, pound the four ingredients: Fructus Ricini (Bimazi), Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren), Semen Persicae (Taoren), and Semen Crotonis (Badou). Then add Resina Pini (Songzhi) and Cera Flava (La), and pound for one thousand strokes. Shape into pills the size of a jujube pit. Wrap in cotton and insert into the ear. Do this four or five times a day. Withdraw and re-knead. Change every three days. Continue until cured.
* Brain of raw male carp (Sheng Xiong Liyu Nao): 8 fen.
* Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii (Changpu), Radix Asari (Xixin), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Fuzi): 6 zhu each.
First, pulverize all medicines. Then decoct with carp brain. Boil three times, adding herbs at each boil. When the ointment has a fragrant aroma, it is ready. Filter out the dregs and wait for it to cool. Take a size like a jujube pit, insert into the ear, and plug with cotton. Seek cure.
* Gall bladder of rat (Shudan): 1 unit.
* Os Draconis (Longchi): 1 fen.
* Borneolum Syntheticum (Longnao), Moschus (Shexiang), Cinnabaris (Zhusha): 1 fen each.
* Oleo-resina Incensi (Ruxiang), Borneolum Natural/Refined (Chaonao): 0.5 fen each.
Grind the above into an extremely fine powder. Form pills using human milk, sized like a paulownia seed. Wrap in silk floss and insert into the ear. Stop when the patient cannot tolerate it. Remove after three days. Hearing will be restored, and deafness will never recur.
