The lesion resembles a cat's eye and possesses luster, hence the name. It presents with no pus and no blood, accompanied by intermittent pain and itching; it is also known as Cold Sore (Han Chuang). Use:
Raw Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Sheng Caowu) 3 liang, Fresh Ginger (Sheng Jiang) 2 liang, Baked Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Wei Baizhi), Stir-fried Arisaematis Rhizoma (Chao Nanting) each 1 liang, Cinnamon Twig (Rougui) 5 qian.
Grind all into powder, mix with distilled liquor (Baijiu) to apply topically. Consume more chicken, fish, garlic, and leeks; avoid fish, shrimp, and crab.
It appears below the waist, measuring one to two cun in length, or fragmented like rice grains, or red and hard. Use:
Realgar (Xionghuang).
Grind into powder, mix with vinegar for topical application; it is extremely effective.
It appears on the head, resembling grapes. Use:
Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) 1 liang, Frankincense (Ruxiang) 2.5 qian (grind together into powder), Sophora Flower (Huaihua) (decoct into thick juice).
Mix the two to form a cake, and apply to the sore. Simultaneously use:
