[Wei Gan San (Baked Liver Powder)]
Treats deficiency-cold of the Spleen Yuan Qi, resulting in continuous slippery diarrhea (chronic loose stools or incontinence), sores inside the mouth, coldness in the abdomen, and loss of appetite. It warms the Stomach, aids digestion, and stops diarrhea.
Ingredients: Wuyi (Meliis Fructus) (3 fen), Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex) (2 liang - *note: original text implies quantity but format is fragmented*), Jiaojiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium) (1 fen).
The above eleven ingredients (*note: only three listed in this segment, likely a textual discrepancy*) are pounded together into powder, sifted through fine silk to make a dispersion. For each dose, take 4 liang of pig liver, sliced thinly. Sprinkle one da qian of the powder onto each slice. Add scallion white, dill, etc., to enhance flavor. Layer them, wrap them in bran flakes, and bake them in ash fire until thoroughly hot and the surface turns scorched yellow. Remove the outer layer and bran, take out the liver, and consume it on an empty stomach. If the coating remains about 2 fen thick, it is acceptable. Alternatively, finely chop the liver, mix it evenly with the powder, form it like dumplings, and cook it by stir-frying as usual. Both methods should be taken with thin rice gruel. Avoid raw, cold, and toxic foods.

First, soak Luxiang, Anxi, and Awai in hot water until soft. Use a large bowl, grinding mineral drugs within it until fine. Grind Longnao, Shexiang, Zhusha, Mituoseng, and Xionghuang into powder separately. Grind Pisuan together with 2 liang of Moutong Fen (Mung Bean Starch) until fine. Take 3 Baiduo seeds (Semini Crotonis Tiglii), remove skin, heart, and membrane, soak in one large bowl of water, changing the water six times a day. After taking them out, press between ten layers of heavy paper to remove oil, then grind finely. Mix all drugs together and grind uniformly.
