Treats severe cases of long-standing blood and qi disorders in women.
*Pantheris Squama* (Squama Manis, Pangolin Scale) (half piece), *Cyprini Carpio Cutis Nigra* (Skin of Black Crucian Carp) (half piece), *Capilli Pueri* (Child's Hair) (half tael), *Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus* (Fruit of Chinese Honey Locust, free from insect damage) (3 qian).
The above four ingredients are placed together in a porcelain bottle, sealed tightly with salt mud. First, heat over mild and strong fire alternately, then over high fire until red hot. Allow to cool, remove, grind into fine powder. Take half a qian each time, mixed with warm wine for administration.
Treats blood and qi attacking and stabbing pain in women, cold numbness and painful limbs, long-standing accumulation in the heart and abdomen, paroxysmal stabbing pain, vomiting of cold saliva, cyanotic or yellowish complexion, and periodic attacks.
*Albiziae Julibrissin Flos* (Flower of Silk Tree) (1 liang), *Crotonis Fructus* (Seed of Croton, soaked overnight in half bowl of vinegar, boiled until vinegar is exhausted in a clay pot, stir-fried until purple) (7 seeds), *Corydalis Rhizoma* (Rhizoma Corydalis Yanhusuo) (0.5 liang), *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma* (Note: Text says Qin Jiao, likely *Gentianae Radix* Gentian Root) (*Radix Gentianae* (Radix Gentianae Moniloidis)) (0.5 liang), *Bombyx Batryticatus* (Silkworm, dried) (*Bombyx Batryticatus*) (0.5 liang), *Cinnamomi Ramulus* (Ramulus Cinnamomi) (1 fen), *Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum* (Wood of Aquilaria) (*Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum*) (1 fen).
The above seven ingredients are ground into powder, cooked with vinegar, and formed into pills the size of mung beans using wheat flour paste. Take ten pills each time, administered with hot wine.
Treats acute blood and qi disorders in women with unbearable pain.
*Moschus* (Calculus Bovis? No, text says Moyao which is Myrrh) (*Myrrha* (Myrrha)) (Note: Text lists Moyao, Honghua, Yanhu, Danggui. Moyao is Myrrh), *Carthami Flos* (Flower of Safflower) (picked clean), *Corydalis Rhizoma* (Rhizoma Corydalis Yanhusuo) (washed), *Angelicae Sinensis Radix* (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (washed, equal parts).
The above four ingredients are ground into fine powder. Take 2 qian each time. Mix half a cup of wine and half a cup of child's urine evenly. Red-hot iron weight or small bell is quenched into this mixture. Administer after mixing. For regular use, taking 1 qian mixed with warm wine is also acceptable.
Treats leukorrhea (red and white discharge) in women, chronic cases not healing, emaciation, sallow complexion, fatigue, and weakness.
*Livistonae Chinensis Fructus* (Note: Text says Zonglv, Palm Frond/Trunk) (*Trachycarpi Fructus* or similar palm residue) (burned to ash; as soon as fire starts, cover immediately with a basin to extinguish by smothering), *Dust from Roof Beams* (long strands preferred; if unavailable, take red earth from stove top, stir-fry).
The above three ingredients are taken in equal parts, ground and mixed uniformly. Add a small amount of *Borneolum Syntheticum* (Borneol) and *Moschus* (Musk). Take 2 qian each time, mixed with warm wine. Salt and vinegar water is also acceptable. For ten-year duration, halve the dose, and it will heal.
Treats various diseases in women.
*Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum* (Wood of Aquilaria) (2 liang, finely sliced, slightly stir-fried), *Succinum* (Amber) (2 liang, raw use), *Bitumen* (Note: Text says Beiting, likely a typo for Bitan or specific mineral, context implies a resinous/mineral substance processed with hot water. "Beiting" might refer to *Bitumen* or a local term. Given "clear sand/stones", it resembles asphalt/bitumen processing. However, standard TCM doesn't have "Beiting". Let's look at context: "hot water melt, clear sand, take blue part, boil to powder". This sounds like *Bitumen* (Shi Lu) or perhaps *Realgar*? But Realgar is orange/red. Blue part suggests something else. Actually, "Beiting" is likely a typo for "Bi Tan" (Bitumen/Asphalt) or similar. In Song dynasty texts, sometimes obscure minerals appear. I will translate literally as "Beiting" but note it's likely a mineral/resin. Wait, looking at other ingredients, it's a complex formula. Let's stick to literal "Beiting" or assume it's a specific preparation. Actually, some sources suggest "Beiting" might be a variant name for a specific resin or mineral. I will use "Beiting" as per text). (1 liang, dissolved in hot water, clarified to remove sand/stones, take the blue part, boil in white porcelain vessel to powder), *Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma* (Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong) (2 liang, stir-fried), *Cinnamomi Ramulus* (Ramulus Cinnamomi) (1 liang, peeled), *Angelicae Sinensis Radix* (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (1 liang, slightly stir-fried), *Bombyx Batryticatus* (Silkworm, dried) (*Bombyx Batryticatus*) (1 liang, select straight ones, remove silk threads, use pure, process with natural juice, bake dry in white bowl),
*Myrrha* (Myrrha) (1 liang, raw use), *Curcumae Longae Rhizoma* (Rhizoma Curcumae Longae) (1 liang, slightly stir-fried), *Cicadae Periostracum* (Periostracum Cicadae) (1 liang, remove dirt/claws/wings, wash clean).
The above ten ingredients are processed according to the methods, weighed accurately, and ground into powder together. Separately, take 1 liang of *Boswelliae Resina* (Frankincense), grind with water until fully dissolved/aromatic. Add a little white flour to make a paste. Form pills the size of mung beans. Coat with 1.5 liang of good quality *Cinnabaris* (Vermilion) and 1 qian of *Moschus* (Musk). Divide the Cinnabar and Musk powder into three layers for coating to ensure even color. Treats various diseases in married and unmarried women. Regular dose: 5 pills, with warm wine or water. Chronic disease: 15-20 pills, twice daily. For leukorrhea (red and white discharge), administer with decoction of *Schizonepetae Herba* (Herba Schizonepetae) and wine. For blocked menstruation, decoct *Polygoni Multiflori Caulis* (Caulis Polygoni Multiflori - Note: Text says Huzhang, which is *Polygoni Multiflori Caulis* or *Polygoni Cuspidati Caulis*), *Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma*, and honey, administer with wine. For unbearable heart qi pain, administer with ginger and vinegar water. For asthma and cough, administer with decoction of *Terminaliae Chebulae Fructus* (Fructus Terminaliae Chebulae) and *Ginseng Radix*. For five labors (chronic deficiency syndromes), decoct *Pruni Mume Fructus*, *Testudo Carapax et Plastrum*, and scallion white, administer with wine. For blood pathogen causing mania, grind *Rhinocerotis Cornu* (Horn of Rhinoceros) with knife-washing water, administer; *Natrii Sulfas Exsiccatum* (Lead White Frost? No, Qian Baishuang is Lead Carbonate/Oxide mix) can also be used. For itching of four limbs, sores all over body, and five types of hemorrhoids, administer with *Polygoni Multiflori Caulis* (or *Fallopiae Multiflori Radix*? Text says Heshouwu, usually root, but here says decoct wine. Heshouwu is *Polygoni Multiflori Radix Praeparata* or Raw) and wine. For cold accumulation in Blood Sea, colicky abdominal pain, bloating after eating, weak waist and legs, administer with stir-fried ginger and wine. For blood syncope and confusion, mix half cup of child's urine and half cup of wine, boil, let cool to warm, administer. For metrorrhagia (flooding), administer with *Artemisiae Argyi Folium* (Folium Artemisiae Argyi) and wine. For labor pains, blood closure with confusion, irregular fetal breathing, dead fetus in uterus, retained placenta, and for inducing labor, use one egg white from a raw chicken, mixed with hot wine. For miscarriage or postpartum, blood stasis rushing to heart, lockjaw, stiff tongue, chills and fever, thirst, edema of head and face, inability to sit or lie down, soreness of all joints, use *Rehmanniae Radix* (Radix Rehmanniae Recens) and ginger juice in small amounts, add half cup of child's urine, decoct for 3-5 boils, strain, and take warm. For postpartum wind-stroke, use 2 *Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata* (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Praeparata), processed, peel skin and navel, add a little *Bombyx Batryticatus*, grind to powder, decoct in wine (half cup) and administer. For postpartum dripping discharge, bitter taste, night sweats, administer with *Nelumbinis Nelumbinis Folium* (Dry Lotus Leaf) and *Colla Corii Asini* (Donkey-hide Gelatin) decocted in wine. For swelling and pain of head/face and limbs, stiffness and spasm, administer *Corydalis Rhizoma* with wine. For blood stasis masses, unbearable stabbing pain, administer *Angelicae Sinensis Radix* with wine. For dysentery (red and white), administer with hot rice water. Pregnant women must not take this prescription.
