Mix the wine infused with Mahuang and half a sheng of honey, boil down to form a paste, then mix with the aforementioned powder to form pills the size of bullet seeds. Zhang Wenshu transmitted these two formulas. In the spring of the Wuchen year, Zhang Zhongqian, Left Vice Director of the Secretariat, suffered from hemiplegia and numbness. Apply to the sole of the foot on the affected side and bind securely. Sit on a chair in a wind-proof, sealed room. Place a basin of hot water in front of the chair, and immerse the foot with the applied medicine into the water. Assist the patient manually, fearing they may lack strength to support themselves due to sweating. Once sweating occurs, immediately remove the medicine. When sweat is about to appear, the body becomes numb; uniform sweating throughout the body is ideal. Carefully avoid wind. The limbs will naturally become movable. If the disease is not completely eradicated, repeat once after half a month. This removes the root cause. Continue taking tonifying medicines for wind disorders. Observe dietary restrictions and abstain from sexual desire to nourish oneself.
