Treating infantile "bianzheng" (a physiological phenomenon in infants and young children associated with growth and development) which resembles Taiyang syndrome (a pattern of exterior excess characterized by aversion to cold, fever, headache, and floating pulse), but is distinguished by white spots on the center of the upper lip. Use Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, 麻黄) with nodes removed, Rhubarb (Dahuang, 大黄), and Apricot Seed (Xingren, 杏仁), each one fen, burned to ash while retaining medicinal properties, then ground into powder. Hold the child in a warm place and administer continuously; recovery occurs when slight sweating appears and the body cools down.
