Treatment for sores in the nose: Grind almond kernels into a paste, mix with milk, apply topically; this is effective.
Treatment for continuous discharge of turbid nasal discharge, known as Bi Yuan (Nasal Sinusitis): Take half a liang of *Magnolia biondii* bud (Xinyi Ren), two and a half qian of fried *Xanthium sibiricum* fruit (Cangerzi), one liang of *Angelica dahurica* root (Baizhi), and half a qian of mint leaves (Boheye); dry them.
Treatment for nasal blockage, cerebral stuffiness, and blurred vision: Grind the stems of sweet green melon (*Cucumis melo*) into powder, insufflate into the nostrils; this also treats nasal polyps.
Treatment for epistaxis (nosebleed): Roast *Gleditsia sinensis* thorn (Zaojiao), grind into powder, take an amount the size of a small bean, and insufflate into the nostril using a bamboo tube.
Treatment for nasal blockage, cerebral stuffiness, and blurred vision: Take one fen of aged *Momordica grosvenori* fruit (Gua Di), grind into powder, mix with a small amount of sheep fat, apply to the polyp, three times daily.

Treatment for heat in the gallbladder causing reckless blood flow leading to epistaxis, and continuous bloody sweat: Take cinnabar (Zhusha), mercury (Shuiyin), and musk (Shexiang) in equal parts, grind into powder. Administer half a qian per dose, taken with newly drawn well water.
Treatment for nasal redness resembling a tumor: Take sulfur (Huangliu), calomel (Qingfen), *Asarum heterotropoides* root (Xixin), and frankincense (Ruxiang) in equal parts, grind into powder, mix with spring water (Jinghua Shui), and rub on the affected area.
