Careful Note: The Liver houses Ministerial Fire; it is generally treated by purging rather than tonifying. Moreover, many eye diseases arise from deficiency of Yin Water and excess of Yang Fire. Therefore, these two formulas primarily nourish the Yin blood of the Liver. This reasoning is sound, so they are included.

Note: The above two formulas act on the Hand-Taiyin Lung Meridian and Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian.
Jisheng Sang Bai Pi San (Jisheng Mulberry Root Bark Powder): Treats obstruction of Lung Qi, where toxic fumes attack the eyes, causing swelling of the sclera and pain day and night.
