Yin itching is mostly caused by erosion from parasites. Initially, it arises from prolonged damp-heat accumulation, which generates "three types of worms" residing between the intestines and stomach. These worms erode the vaginal opening, causing itching. In severe cases, there is unceasing itching and pain, leading to ulceration, swelling, and protrusion. For unmarried women and widows, this condition often results from unsatisfied sexual desires and excessive lustful thoughts, causing Qi and Blood to stagnate in the genital region. This stagnation accumulates into damp-heat, which persists for a long time, eventually generating the three types of worms and resulting in this disease. Some women suffer from excessive sexual activity, leading to heat obstruction, which causes swelling, itching, internal pain, and external presentation as *biandu* (perianal or perineal abscess). All these are invariably caused by damage from sexual excesses.
