When half the water has evaporated, remove, clarify, filter, and re-decoct until thick like malt syrup. Take two spoons on an empty stomach, mixed with a zhan of warm wine. The efficacy is immeasurable. (Shen Cunzhong said: Rosa laevigata stops seminal emission and diarrhea due to its warmth and astringency. I wished to fast (abstain from grains) and rely on purity to overcome them, but could not. Now I have abstained from alcohol, meat, salt, vinegar, sauces, and pickles, and all flavorful foods. I have also stopped eating white rice, consuming only bland noodles. Occasionally, I eat a small amount of sesame and Fuling flour to satisfy hunger. Sesame is black sesame; peel it, steam for a long time, and dry. Fuling should have its skin removed and mixed with a little white honey for best taste. Eating it mixed with sesame is delicious. After taking this for many days, my strength did not decline, and hemorrhoids gradually receded. He also said: Once you know this flour and bland noodles, other medicines are unnecessary; all diseases will depart. This is the true method for longevity."

Finely chop the ingredients, roast slowly over low heat, and grind into powder. Mix evenly with sulfur powder. Decoct rice vinegar and mix to form two portions of dough. Knead with half a jin of white flour to bind properly, divide into two portions, and wrap the medicine inside like baking flatbread. Roast over moderate fire until the dough is cooked. Remove the dough, pound in a mortar three hundred times, and form pills the size of paulownia seeds.
For various diarrhea and dysentery, take 20 pills with rice soup on an empty stomach at noon. For qi pain and retained food, take 20 pills with ginger-salt soup on an empty stomach at noon. The effect is miraculous.
