Heart and abdominal pain are all caused by the weakness of the Zang-Fu organs, irregular flow of Qi and Blood, combined with the disturbance of the Seven Emotions internally and the invasion of the Six Exogenous Pathogens externally. The pathogenic factors interfere with the body causing pain. The pain moves up and down with the Qi, sometimes rushing up to the Heart or attacking downwards to the Abdomen.
