(Treats irregular menstruation in women. Qi and blood are disharmonious, unable to conceive. Or after having one child, remains infertile for many years. Taking this medicinal wine for one hundred days will enable pregnancy. For those with insufficient Qi and blood, stagnant menses, and phlegm condensation, taking it for half a year will invariably show efficacy. After conception, add Taishan Panshi San (Mount Tai Rock-Solid Powder) (see below). Quan Dang Gui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, five taels, sliced; this can promote blood circulation and nourish blood) Yuan Zhi Rou (Cortex Polygalae, five taels, washed with Licorice Decoction; this can dissipate stagnation in the blood, promote Qi movement, and resolve phlegm). The above two herbs are placed in a linen bag, soaked in ten jin of sweet Sanbai Wine for seven days. Drink warm in appropriate amounts every night. Do not interrupt the course.
(For unmarried girls who menstruate without pain at home, but suddenly suffer from dysmenorrhea after marriage, which gradually worsens and is unresponsive to medication. This is because young brides and their partners are unaware of taboos. Intercourse occurs either before menstruation begins or while it is not yet complete, shaking the collaterals of the Sea of Blood and damaging the Chong and Ren vessels. This leads to blood stasis and condensation, making menstrual flow difficult and causing pain, known as "Reverse Menstrual Pain." Infertility results from this condition. Physicians who do not understand this may mistakenly treat it as cold or heat, deficiency or excess, leading to ineffective mixed treatments. Only by prescribing this formula can miraculous effects be achieved: pain ceases, menstruation regulates, and childbirth becomes possible.) Qiao Mai (Buckwheat, five sheng, washed, ash removed, dried, ground, bran removed, pure flour reserved for use; Buckwheat tonifies the Chong and Ren collaterals and resolves blood stasis) Hua Bian Yan Zhi (Painted Edge Rouge, two taels; this is made from Su Mu, Qian Cao, Hong Hua, assisted by Wumei decoction dyed onto silk cocoons, taking its mild and warm nature that is potent yet not harsh). Boil the Hua Bian Yan Zhi into a concentrated juice, mix with the pure Qiao Mai flour to make pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take five qian each morning with boiled water. Avoid eating pork liver and sheep [liver/meat].
(Treats various symptoms of red and white strangury.) Zhen Chi Fu Ling (True Red Poria, five qian, powdered. Mix with tofu milk on an empty stomach and take.)
(Treats menstruation flowing upward, emerging from the mouth and nose.) Jiu Zhi (Chive Juice, one small cup. Mix with fresh urine of a young boy and take warm. This formula is also effective for hematemesis, hemoptysis, fainting, and other symptoms.)
