Western Niu Huang (3 fen), Xiangru (Boswellia carterii, Frankincense) stir-fried with Dengcao (Junci Medulla), Moyao (Commiphora myrrha, Myrrh) stir-fried with Dengcao (each 5 fen), Shancigu (Fritillaria cirrhosa, Fritillary Bulb) (1 qian), Zhusha (Cinnabar), Xionghuang (Realgar) (each 7 fen).
Grind all the above ingredients uniformly. Form pills using refined honey. Each pill weighs approximately 3 fen. Daily, decoct Jinyinhua (Lonicera japonica, Honeysuckle) in water and take one pill with the soup. To reduce the severity of smallpox eruptions, apply this medicine only after the sores have healed.
For the treatment of fetal hernia (Taihong), it is necessary to wait until the child is over one year old before applying this medicine. Goutenggou (Uncaria rhynchophylla, Uncaria Hook), Fushen (Poria with Hostwood), Fuling (Poria cocos, Poria), Danggui (Angelica sinensis, Dong Quai), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum chuanxiong, Szechuan Lovage Rhizome) (each 1 qian), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, Auckland Root) roasted (4 fen), Gancao (Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Licorice Root) (5 fen), Jiang Pian (Fresh Ginger Slice) one piece, Zao Er Mei (Jujube) two pieces. Decoct in water and take orally. Dangshen (Codonopsis pilosula, Codonopsis Root) (5 fen), Danggui (Angelica sinensis, Dong Quai) (4 fen), Baishao (Paeonia lactiflora, White Peony Root) (3 fen), Zhi Gancao (Honey-fried Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Honey-fried Licorice), Jiegeng (Platycodon grandiflorus, Balloon Flower Root), Chenpi (Citrus reticulata, Tangerine Peel) (each 2 fen). Decoct in plain water and take orally.

Dengcao (Junci Medella, Rush Pith) in any quantity. Burn to ash but retain its medicinal properties (Cunxing). Take down with Dengcao decoction, or apply to the infant's body.

Burn old Pu Shan (Woven Palm Leaf Fan) to ash but retain its medicinal properties. Grind into powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine.
