Discussion states: After childbirth, both Qi and Blood are deficient, and body fluids are scanty. If warming tonification is excessive, heat pathogens enter the Bladder (Bladder), causing internal dryness of Qi and meridians, leading to obstruction and blockage. Initially, it presents as dysuria with astringency; in severe cases, urination becomes completely obstructed, causing distending pain around the umbilicus in the lower abdomen. Accumulation of Qi internally may also cause uterine torsion (Bao Zhuan). The treatment principle is to restore the free flow of Qi, after which the condition will resolve.
