Discussion states: Infants may experience vomiting and diarrhea without apparent cause, with excrement appearing in green, yellow, red, or white colors, where water and grain separate. They suffer from abdominal pain, body twisting and turning, and facial complexion changing among five colors, resembling epilepsy (epilepsy). However, if the eyes do not roll upward (upward deviation of eyes), this condition is named "Ke Wu" (Guest Intoxication/Startle). This occurs because an infant's blood and qi are not yet full, and their spirit is not yet settled; suddenly seeing unusual objects, unfamiliar people, or being offended by strange entities causes a sudden onset, hence the name "Ke Wu". Palpating the pulse as wiry, rapid, and frequent indicates "Wu" (Intoxication/Startle). It is strictly forbidden for a wet nurse to breastfeed immediately after intoxication or after sexual intercourse when she is panting, exhausted, and lacking qi; if the condition becomes severe, it cannot be saved.
