Discussion states: Pediatric slow convulsion (Xiao'er Man Jing Feng) is a type of epilepsy originating from the Yin aspect. It arises from insufficient endowment during fetal development, leading to weak Heart Qi (Heart energy). External wind pathogens invade the Fu and Zang organs. Upon onset, there are spasms of the hands and feet, shaking of the head and eyes, locked jaw, a trance-like state resembling drunkenness, periodic发作 and remission, and irregular spasms like tidal waves; this is called Yin Epilepsy (Yin Xian). Treatment involves external moxibustion and internal herbal decoctions. Adapting treatment flexibly according to the condition qualifies one as a superior physician.
