Commentary states: When a child develops hot sores on the body that fail to heal for a long time, Luoli (scrofula/cervical lymphadenitis) will inevitably develop. This is caused by wind pathogen clashing with blood and qi, generating at the site of accumulation.
To treat pediatric Luoli characterized by swelling and pain, high fever, stagnation of the large intestine, red and scanty urination, mental restlessness, and insomnia: Xijiao San (Rhinoceros Horn Powder).
