Commentary states: Children often use pearls, jade, coins, and similar items as toys or keep them in their mouths. Due to fright or crying, they may accidentally swallow these objects. If they cannot be expelled quickly, the harm caused can be significant. Treatment should follow the nature of the ingested object using appropriate methods.
Formula for treating children who have accidentally swallowed a coin stuck in the throat:
Bran Charcoal (ground into fine powder)
Take one portion of this ingredient, dip a finger into it, and flick a small amount into the throat. After a short while, the coin will naturally be vomited out. Another method uses calcined sheep tibia bone ground into fine powder.
Formula for treating children who have accidentally swallowed a needle:
Magnetite (a piece the size of a small bean with strong magnetic attraction)
Place this single ingredient in the mouth; its magnetism will attract and extract the needle. Alternatively, tie it with silk thread and guide it out through the throat.

Heat copper crossbow trigger until red hot, then quench it in a bowl of water. Have the child drink this water immediately; the foreign body will be expelled.
Formula for treating children who have accidentally swallowed silver ornaments or hairpins:

Formula for treating children who have accidentally swallowed hair:
Burn a wooden comb to ash, grind it finely, and administer half a qianbi dose mixed with rice water. If not expelled, administer another dose.
Formula for treating children who have accidentally swallowed plum or apricot pits:

Formula for treating children who have accidentally swallowed fish bones:
Burn half a liang of goose feathers to ash, grind finely, and administer half a qian dose mixed with rice water. Repeat if ineffective.
Commentary states: The Spleen governs muscles, and its flourishing manifestation appears on the lips. Heat in the Spleen and Stomach steams upward to the mouth, causing sores on the lip margins. It fluctuates between remission and exacerbation, persisting for a long time without healing. This is called Tight Lip Ulcer (Jin Chun Chuang), also known as Sunken Lip.
