For prolapse of the rectum, moxa at Guizhui (Rear End) acupoint (located at the distal end of the spine), 7 moxibustion cones.
One cun below Zhongji (CV3) acupoint, in the depression at the pubic hair margin, pressing yields a responsive sensation.
For prolapse of the rectum caused by cold, moxa at Qizhong (CV8, Center of Umbilicus), with the number of moxibustion cones corresponding to the patient's age.
For chronic prolapse of the rectum that has not healed for years, moxa at Henggu (KI11) acupoint, 100 moxibustion cones.
Regardless of the specific condition, one may sit astride the axle of a rice pounder, extend the penis and place it on the axle, aligning with the front of the glans penis, and apply moxibustion on the wooden axle, with the number of cones corresponding to the patient's age. For enlargement of the scrotum and testicles, moxa at Dadun (LR1) acupoint, with the number of cones corresponding to the patient's age; this acupoint is located in the middle of the three hairs on the big toe of the foot. Additionally, moxa on the medial side of the big toe of the foot, one cun from the tip, at the junction of red and white flesh, with the number of cones corresponding to the patient's age, applying bilateral moxibustion. Also moxa bilaterally at Henggu (KI11) acupoint, 14 cones, located on both sides of the penis shaft.
For retraction of the genitals, moxa in the middle of the texture lines under the big toe of the foot, 10 cones, applying moxibustion along the edge of the swelling. (The *Zhou Hou Fang* states to moxa five cones at the center of the transverse crease under the second phalanx of the big toe; Master Yao states three cones at the base of the big toe).
For unilateral enlargement of the scrotum and testicles, moxa at Quanyin acupoint, 100 cones, administered in three sessions; this acupoint is located beside Henggu (KI11). In cases of sudden swelling of the scrotum and testicles, have the patient bring their feet together and join the two big toes, using one moxa cone, and moxa the square corners at the ends of the toenails, half a cone at each corner, curing after seven cones.
For enlargement of the scrotum and testicles, moxa 50 cones on the Foot-Taiyang channel, administered in three sessions; also moxa 50 cones on the Foot-Taiyin channel, located one *fu* distance above the medial malleolus.
For unilateral enlargement of the testicles extending into the abdomen, moxa at Sanyinjiao (SP6) acupoint, located three cun above the medial malleolus, with the number of cones corresponding to the patient's age.
For unilateral enlargement of the testicles, moxa at Jianjing (GB21) acupoint, with the number of cones corresponding to the patient's age; this acupoint is located where the shoulder joint meets the arm. Also moxa the tip of the little finger, 7 cones; if the disease is on the right, moxa the left, and if on the left, moxa the right. For enlargement of the testicles, moxa at Guanyuan (CV4) acupoint, 100 cones.
For enlargement of the testicles, moxa at Yuquan acupoint, 100 cones, administered in sessions; this acupoint is located below the flexed bone.
Diseases of lower back pain all originate from the Kidney, as the Shu points of Kidney disease are located in the lumbar spine. Lower back pain caused by different meridians varies, and treatment should follow the syndrome. For lower back pain radiating to the neck, spine, sacrum, and back, feeling heavy as if bearing a load, the disease is in the Foot-Taiyang channel; puncture the regular channel in the gap to bleed, but do not let blood appear in Spring (Weizhong BL40). For lower back pain feeling like a needle prick in the skin, unable to bend or extend, or look back, puncture the end of the Chenggu bone of the Shaoyang channel to bleed, but do not let blood appear in Summer. (Chenggu is the solitary protruding bone on the lateral side of the knee). For lower back pain with inability to look back, visual hallucinations upon looking back, and frequent sadness, the disease is in the Yangming channel; puncture the Yangming channel three cun above the knee, harmonize upper and lower, and bleed, but do not let blood appear in Autumn (Zusanli ST36). For lower back pain radiating to the inner side of the spine, it belongs to the Shaoyin channel; puncture two cun above the medial malleolus, but do not let blood appear in Spring; excessive bleeding cannot be restored (Fuliu KI7). For lower back pain where the waist feels tight like a drawn bowstring, it belongs to the Jueyin channel; puncture outside the fish-belly area of the heel, palpate for nodular sensations, then puncture (Ligou LR5). For lower back pain radiating to the shoulder, blurred vision, and frequent enuresis, the disease is in the Jiemaichannel; puncture between the muscle and tendon divisions of the knee, on the lateral side of the gap, bleed until the blood turns red (also a gap of the Taiyang channel). For lower back pain feeling like being pulled by a belt, often feeling like the waist is broken, and frequent fear, it is also a disease of the Jiemaichannel; puncture the knotted collaterals resembling millet grains in the gap; if black blood shoots out, stop when red blood appears (Weizhong BL40). For lower back pain feeling like a small hammer inside with sudden swelling, the disease is in the Tongyin channel; puncture the end of Jiegu, 3 cones (Yangfu GB38). For lower back pain with local sudden swelling, it belongs to the Yangwei channel; puncture downwards, about one chi from the ground (Chengshan BL57). For lower back pain unable to bend or extend, fearing falling when extending, caused by lifting heavy objects injuring the腰部 and breaking the Hengluo channels causing blood stasis, puncture between the Yangjin in the gap, several cun above the gap, 2 cones (Weiyang BL39). For lower back pain with profuse sweating on the painful area, dry sweat causing thirst, and restlessness after drinking, it belongs to the Huiyin channel; puncture the horizontal vessel five cun below the Qi gap, bleed where the pulse is full (Chengjin BL56). For lower back pain with local oppression, severe sadness and fear, the disease belongs to the Feiyang channel; puncture five cun above the medial malleolus, anterior to Shaoyin, at the intersection with the Yinwei channel (Fuliu KI7 and Zubin KI9). For lower back pain radiating to the chest, blurred vision, severe body opisthotonos, and inability to speak, the disease is in the Changyang channel; puncture anterior to the large tendon and posterior to the Taiyin channel, two cun above the ankle (Jiaoxin SP8). For lower back pain with heat, severe irritability, a sensation of a horizontal block in the lower waist, and severe enuresis, the disease is in the Sanmai channel; puncture between the bone and flesh anterior to the knee, on the lateral side of the collateral vessels, 3 cones (Diji SP8). For lower back pain unable to cough, where coughing causes tendon contraction and urgency, the disease is in the Rouli channel; puncture posterior to the Taiyang channel exterior and the Jiegu of Shaoyang, 2 cones (Fenrou acupoint). For lower back pain clamping the spine and radiating to the head, stiff neck, blurred vision, and desire to fall, puncture the gap to bleed. For upper back coldness, puncture Foot-Taiyang and Yangming; for upper back heat, puncture Foot-Jueyin; for mid-back heat with panting, puncture Foot-Shaoyin; puncture the gap to bleed. For upper back coldness unable to look back, puncture Foot-Yangming; for difficult defecation, puncture Foot-Shaoyin; for lower abdominal fullness, puncture Foot-Jueyin; for stiffness like a break, unable to bend/extend or lift, puncture Foot-Taiyang; for pain radiating to the lower abdomen and controlling the testicles, unable to lie supine, puncture the crossing point of the waist and sacrum, on the muscles of the two condyles, determining the number of cones by the waxing and waning of the moon; the needle effect is immediate upon withdrawal; treat left for right disease, right for left disease. This is the method for treating lower back pain. Besides these acupoints, there are remaining methods attached hereafter.
For persistent lower back pain, moxa at Huanshu (Note: Text says "Huan Shu", location described matches Dachangshu BL25) acupoint, two acupoints located one-and-a-half cun lateral to the lower border of the eleventh thoracic vertebra, where the Qi of the Foot-Taiyang channel emerges; take the position prone, moxa 7 cones each, cone size like half a date pit.
For Kidney-type lower back pain unable to bend or extend, Yinningquan (SP9) governs it.
For lower back pain with lower abdominal pain, Yinbao (LR11) governs it.
For lower back pain with difficult defecation, Yongquan (KI1) governs it.
For lower back pain unable to turn sideways, Zhangmen (LR13) governs it.
For lower back pain radiating to the testicles, lower abdomen, and thighs, sudden inability to bend forward or extend backward, puncture Qiejie (ST30).
For persistent lower back pain, moxa at Yaomu acupoint 7 cones, located at the transverse fold above the sacrum, left and right.
For sudden lower back pain, moxa one cun above the Qungu bone, 7 cones, one cun left and right, 7 cones each.
For lower back pain, moxa in the middle of the transverse wrinkle on the heel at the junction of white flesh, 10 cones; also moxa Foot-Juyang (Taiyang) 7 cones, Juyang is below the lateral malleolus.
