治妇人乳无汁方。
石钟乳 硝石（一用滑石） 白石脂（各六铢） 通草（十二铢） 桔梗（半两、切）
上五味 咀，以水五升煮三沸，三上三下，去滓，纳硝石，令烊，分服。
又方 石钟乳 通草（各等分）
上二味为末，粥饮服方寸匕，日三。后可兼养两儿。（通草横心者是，勿取羊桃根色黄
无益）
一方二味，酒五升，渍一宿，明旦煮沸，去滓，服一升，日三，夏冷服，冬温服。
又方 石钟乳（四两） 甘草（二两，一方不用） 漏芦（三两） 通草 栝蒌根（各
五两）
上五味 咀，以水一斗，煮取三升，分三服。（一云用栝蒌实一枚）
又方 石钟乳 通草（各一两） 漏芦（半两） 桂心 甘草 栝蒌根（各六铢）
上六味治下筛，酒服方寸匕，日三，最验。
又方 石钟乳 漏芦（各二两）
上二味，治下筛，饮服方寸匕，即下。
治同前。
漏芦 通草（各二两） 石钟乳（一两） 黍米（一升）
上四味 咀，米宿渍揩挞，取汁三升，煮药三沸，去滓。作饮饮之，日三。

A formula for treating women with insufficient lactation.
Shizhongru (Gypsum Fibrosum), Xiaoshi (Natrii Sulfas, alternatively Huashi [Pumex]), Baishizhi (Kaolinite) (each 6 zhu), Tongcao [Tetrapanacis Medulla] (12 zhu), Jiegeng [Platycodonis Radix] (0.5 liang, sliced).
The above five herbs are cut into small pieces, decocted in 5 sheng of water for three boils, employing the "three ups and three downs" method (removing from heat to cool slightly before boiling again, repeated three times), filtered, then Xiaoshi is added and dissolved. The mixture is divided and taken.
Another formula: Shizhongru (Gypsum Fibrosum), Tongcao [Tetrapanacis Medulla] (equal parts).
The above two herbs are ground into powder, taken with millet broth using a fangcun bi (a measuring spoon) as the dose, three times daily. This may subsequently support nursing twins. (Note: Select Tongcao with a heart-shaped cross-section; avoid Yangtaogen [Akebiae Caulis], which is yellow and ineffective.)
Yet another formula: The aforementioned two herbs are soaked in 5 sheng of wine overnight. Boil on the next morning, filter, and take 1 sheng per dose, three times daily. Take cold in summer and warm in winter.
Yet another formula: Shizhongru (Gypsum Fibrosum) (4 liang), Gancao [Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma] (2 liang, omitted in some versions), Loulu [Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba] (3 liang), Tongcao [Tetrapanacis Medulla], Gualougen [Trichosanthis Radix] (each 5 liang).
The above five herbs are cut into small pieces, decocted in 1 dou of water until reduced to 3 sheng, divided into three doses. (Some sources suggest using one Gualoushi [Trichosanthis Fructus]).
Yet another formula: Shizhongru (Gypsum Fibrosum), Tongcao [Tetrapanacis Medulla] (each 1 liang), Loulu [Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba] (0.5 liang), Guixin [Cinnamomi Cortex], Gancao [Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma], Gualougen [Trichosanthis Radix] (each 6 zhu).
The above six herbs are crushed, sifted, and taken with wine using a fangcun bi as the dose, three times daily. This is highly effective.
Yet another formula: Shizhongru (Gypsum Fibrosum), Loulu [Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba] (each 2 liang).
The above two herbs are crushed, sifted, and taken with warm water using a fangcun bi as the dose; lactation will proceed promptly.
Treatment is the same as above.
Loulu [Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba], Tongcao [Tetrapanacis Medulla] (each 2 liang), Shizhongru (Gypsum Fibrosum) (1 liang), Shumi [Panicum miliaceum] (1 sheng).
The above four ingredients are cut into small pieces. Soak Shumi overnight, wash, and extract its juice (3 sheng). Decoct the herbs in this juice for three boils, filter, and drink as a beverage, three times daily.
Treatment is the same as above.
Loulu [Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba] (0.5 liang), Shizhongru (Gypsum Fibrosum), Gualougen [Trichosanthis Radix] (each 1 liang), Qicao [Melandrii Larva] (3 he).
The above four herbs are crushed, sifted, and taken after drinking sugar water, using a fangcun bi as the dose, three times daily.
Treatment is the same as above.
Shigao [Gypsum Fibrosum] (4 liang), finely ground. Decoct in 2 sheng of water for three boils. Take in small amounts gradually, finishing within one day.
