In the prognostication of Liver Wind syndrome, if the patient cannot speak, moxibustion should be applied to the Renmai-26 (Renzhong) point located below the nose. Next, moxibustion should be applied to the Dazhui (GV14) point, followed by Ganshu (BL18). The Ganshu point is located below the spinous process of the ninth thoracic vertebra; apply fifty moxa cones (zhuang); for other areas, apply a number of moxa cones corresponding to the patient's age. For dim vision, moxibustion can restore sight; applying two to three hundred moxa cones is effective.
