This kind of recovery helps Zheng Qi (Upright Qi/Vital Energy) to repel Xie Qi (Pathogenic Qi/Evil Energy). The previous "recovery" helped Xie Qi attack Zheng Qi. As long as there is no conflict, you think it is recovered, but one is a slave, the other is the master; the nature is completely different. I do not think this article has much value. The only redeeming quality throughout is the concept that "fever is merely a symptom, not the cause." For Western medicine, this is already commendable, but this is merely a very elementary introductory concept in orthodox TCM.
As for the treatment suggestions mentioned in the article, they are mostly misleading and harmful.
