The Tusizi Wan (Cuscuta Seed Pill) prescription from the *Duanju* for treating hematuria.
Tusizi (Cuscutae Semen), Puhuang (Lygodii Spora), Ganyedi Huang (Dry Rehmanniae Radix), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Jingshi (Schisandrae Fructus), Kuizi (Abelmoschi Semen), Baijiang (Patriniae Herba), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Fuling (Poria), Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) (each two liang).
The above ten herbs are mixed, pounded into powder, and blended with white honey to form pills the size of a wutong seed. Take two pills with warm water, three times daily. If ineffective, increase the dosage to five or six pills. Liu Hong found this prescription effective and recommended regular use. Avoid vinegar products and Wuyi (Chenopodii Fructus). (Consistent with records in *Gujin Luyan* and Fan Wang's works.)
Furthermore, regarding various hemostatic prescriptions mentioning "lower bleeding" (xià xuè): any blood originating from within the abdomen is classified as lower bleeding. If hemorrhoids are present and blood flows from the perianal region, consult the hemorrhoid prescriptions separately (found in Volume 4).
The Qianjin Fang (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) prescription for treating hematuria. (Another version notes that the following treat urinary turbidity due to consumption deficiency.)

Another prescription for treating hematuria.
Shengdihuang (Fresh Rehmanniae Radix) (eight liang), Baiye (Calami Folium / Meei Leaf - Note: Context implies Cinnamomi Ramulus or similar, but literally "Bai Ye", often interpreted as Calamus leaf or sometimes Mistaken for other leaves in ancient texts, here kept as Baiye/Leaf of White Tree, likely referring to a specific local herb or typo for Bieyue/Caulis Nelumbinis, but strictly translating text: Baiye) (one bundle), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (three liang), Ejiao (Asini Corii Colla) (two liang).
The above four ingredients are cut, added to seven sheng of water, boiled down to three sheng, strained, and Ejiao is dissolved into the liquid. Divide into three doses. (All from Volume 21).
Wenzhong's prescription for treating hematuria.
Shengdihuang Zhi (Juice of Fresh Rehmanniae Radix) (one sheng), Shengjiang Zhi (Juice of Fresh Zingiberis Rhizoma) (one he).
Mix the above two ingredients and take in one dose. If not cured, prepare again. (This method is recorded by Duke Xu Linggong as extremely effective, consistent with *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*).
