Burn millet into powder and apply it to the affected area. For deeper conditions, use a suppository method to guide the medicine in. Alternatively, crush the inner bark of the locust tree (Styphnolobii Japonici Cortex) into fine powder for suppository use. Burn *Fanlou* (likely referring to a specific plant, possibly *Luffa* or similar, contextually ambiguous but kept as transliteration/loan term if standard name unknown, here treated as specific herb name) into ash, and calcine alum (*Alumen*) into powder. For intestinal hemorrhoids with bleeding, decoct three jin (approx. 1.5 kg) of white parts of green onions (*Allii Fistulosi Bulbus*), and fumigate and wash the area; immediate relief is expected.
Take one slug (Yanyou), wrap it in salt mud, and bake until red-hot. Remove the mud, and mix borax (*Borax*), cinnabar (*Cinnabaris*), realgar (*Realgar*), and borneol (*Borneolum Syntheticum*) into an extremely fine powder. Adding a small amount of dragon bone (*Draconis Os*) is even better. During defecation, when prolapse occurs, hold a small amount of the medicine on thin paper and push it back inside; this is highly effective.
Dry the head of a toad in the shade, burn it, and use the smoke to fumigate the area; this has miraculous effects. Alternatively, crush slugs and mix them with aged ink, then apply to the area; this is extremely effective.
Burn dried oranges from the previous year in a bucket and fumigate the area with the smoke. Alternatively, first wash with a decoction of *Mubiezi* (Strychni Semen), then immediately apply honey mixed with onion juice; healing will occur quickly.
Cook *Tusizi* (Cuscutae Semen) until yellow-black, then grind into powder. Mix with egg yolk (*Ovi Gallini Yolk*) and apply. Alternatively, burn certain bark into ash and apply. Alternatively, cook almonds (*Persicae Semen*) until black.
Grind papaya (*Chaenomelis Fructus*) into powder, mix with loach mucus, and apply to the area, protecting it with paper.
For early-stage cases, decoct genkwa flower (*Genkwa Flos*), Sichuan pepper (*Zanthoxyli Pericarpium*), and phellodendron bark (*Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex*) to wash the area; the condition will subside. Alternatively, roast loofah skin (*Luffae Fructus Retinervus*), grind into powder, and rub with distilled liquor. Alternatively, mix cuttlefish bone (*Sepiae Endoconcha*, 5 qian) and *Leigongteng* (Tripterygium Wilfordii Radix et Rhizoma, 3 qian) into a fine powder, rub onto the area, and if dry, mix with vegetable oil and apply.
For Xuan Yong (also known as Maqi Yong, a perianal abscess), burn thread from a spinning wheel into ash, mix with sesame oil, and apply. For already ulcerated cases, sprinkle the dry powder directly; this is also effective. Alternatively, mix realgar (2 qian)... [Text cuts off]
Crush purslane (*Portulacae Herba*, 4 liang), mix with indigo naturalis (*Indigo Naturalis*, 1 liang), and apply.
Have the patient sit on a bucket, burn soap pod (*Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus*) to produce smoke, and fumigate the anus; bowel movement will naturally become unobstructed. Alternatively, grind male rat feces (those with pointed ends are authentic) into powder, insert into the umbilicus, wrap in cotton, and place over the lower abdomen; qi flow will immediately clear. Alternatively, take whole green onions (1 jin, unwashed), ginger (one piece), and prepared soybean (*Sojae Semens Praeparatum*), make into a cake, heat it, bind it to the umbilicus, and after a while, when qi penetrates, passage will naturally open. Alternatively, stir-fry table salt until hot, let it cool, fill the umbilicus, and moxibustion for seven cones; passage will immediately open. Alternatively, for acute urinary and fecal retention in men and women, which is critical: use ten river snails (*Cipangopaludinae Carnum*), seven roots of green onion white part, musk...
