Take two small soft-shelled turtles (approximately eight to nine jin). True dried persimmon (Shibing, 柿饼) four qian. Boil these two ingredients together. Pounding during the day until mushy. Add the previous medicinal powders and pound again to form pills. Take four qian on an empty stomach every day. Wash down with boiled water. The sinus tract will naturally discharge.

Coated with cinnabar (Zhusha, 朱砂). Stored in bottles. Preserved with five fen Moschus (Shexiang, 麝香). Take one pill per dose. Wash down with boiling wine. Dissolves internally if not yet suppurated. Discharges pus if already suppurated. Divine efficacy.
