This is caused by deficiency of the body constitution and severity of toxic pathogens. External applications should be selected according to specific symptoms. Internally administer Shenshen Zao (Immortal Date Pill); recovery can be expected within four to five days.
Administer Sizhong of Hongzao Wan (Red Date Pill) with decoction of red dates. Recovery occurs upon completion of the course.
In cases where sores are critically severe and there is no time for oral medication, seek four or five large crabs, each weighing over one jin. Boil them in hot water for consumption, followed by alcohol intake, then cover with blankets and sleep. Within two shichen (four hours), new sores will erupt on the body, appearing more severe than before, but the original sores will completely resolve. Subsequently, treat as a sore condition; either administer Hongzao Wan (Red Date Pill) or Yuchuang Zao (Sore-Healing Date).
Mash fresh radish, soak in good vinegar, and apply externally. Delayed treatment endangers life.
The lesion arises on the lower leg, presenting with redness, swelling, heat, and pain, without ulceration or erosion. Physicians of the world typically use knives or sickles to bleed the area, or apply leech blood topically, yet full recovery never occurs. The condition recurs frequently, involving repeated bleeding and application. The treatment method involves dissolving mineral ash in vat water. The next day, a layer resembling thin ice forms on the surface of the water; collect this substance, mix it with tung oil until thick and viscous, and apply three times daily. Recovery occurs in three to four days, with no recurrence thereafter. During treatment, pork must be avoided.
Apply Xuanjiu (Psoriasis Wine) topically. Shave the affected area every three days and apply the wine, continuing until healed.
Soak raw Mugua Zi (Semen Momordicae) slices for several days, boil thoroughly in a pot, and use the decoction to wash. After washing, apply Wugong You (Centipede Oil) to the scalp/head until healed. Alternatively, slice Caowu (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii), roast until crisp, grind into powder, mix with vinegar, and apply three times daily. Healing occurs within a few days.
Ma states: First shave the head, then wash with decoction.
Add vinegar to Xianjiao Gao (Fresh Horn Ointment), boil until thick and viscous, and store in a porcelain bottle. When encountering this condition, first shave the area, then apply the ointment after shaving. Repeat shaving and application daily. Once the toxic fluid has drained completely, apply a few more times to achieve healing.
Zhi Lou (Hemorrhoids and Fistula) is equivalent to Chang Pi (Intestinal Dysentery/Polyps). Whenever small polyps protrude from the nine orifices of the human body, it is akin to a small mountain protruding from a large marsh. This term is not limited to the anus; hence names such as Bi Zhi (Nasal Hemorrhoid), Yan Zhi (Ocular Hemorrhoid), and Ya Zhi (Dental Hemorrhoid) exist. Hemorrhoids are classified into five types with varying appearances: Mu Zhi (Yang Hemorrhoid), Pin Zhi (Yin Hemorrhoid), Mai Zhi (Vascular Hemorrhoid), Chang Zhi (Intestinal Hemorrhoid), and Qi Zhi (Qi Hemorrhoid). Those not yet ulcerated are called Zhi (Hemorrhoids); those already ulcerated are called Lou (Fistula).
─ Several sores arise at the edge of the anus, swelling and protruding, dissipating after pus discharge: Pin Zhi (Yin Hemorrhoid).
─ Flesh protrudes from the anus like beads, resembling mouse milk, dripping blood and pus: Mu Zhi (Yang Hemorrhoid).
─ Granular eruptions occur at the anal opening, accompanied by pain and itching, with continuous bleeding: Mai Zhi (Vascular Hemorrhoid).
─ Nodules with blood appear inside the anus, accompanied by chills and fever, with rectal prolapse during defecation: Chang Zhi (Intestinal Hemorrhoid).
─ Swelling and pain at the anus, triggered by anger and subsiding when anger ceases: Qi Zhi (Qi Hemorrhoid).
─ Swelling, pain, and bleeding occurring after drunkenness: Jiu Zhi (Alcohol Hemorrhoid). Color is similar to the above.
─ Continuous spurting of blood during defecation: Xue Zhi (Blood Hemorrhoid).
