This condition arises below the cheek, forming a large nodule shaped like a walnut. If the patient is not affected by heat pathogens and takes good care of their health, the nodule will become soft as cotton; however, if provoked by anger, the nodule becomes hard and enlarged, extending to the root of the tongue, resembling *Chong She* (Double Tongue). Treatments for Double Tongue are mostly ineffective for this condition; therefore, removing the nodule is essential for any hope of recovery. One may follow the method for resolving phlegm nodules (*Tan He*) previously described to eliminate the nodule, taking internally *Zhongjiu Wan* (Central Nine Pills) combined with *Jingong Wan* (Golden Centipede Pill). Other methods such as fumigation, washing, tissue regeneration, and mouth leveling are identical to those used for phlegm nodules.
This condition occurs at the chin opposite the throat, round like an egg and hard as stone, obstructing the throat, and is common in women. Upon experiencing anger, swelling, pain, and tidal fever occur, which typically resolve after seven or eight days. The treatment principle favors agents that regulate qi and resolve phlegm. Internally, take *Zhongjiu Wan* combined with *Jingong Wan*. Acupuncture and moxibustion are strictly contraindicated, and forcibly removing the nodule is prohibited. Puncturing it with a fine needle causes uncontrollable bleeding and everted wounds that are difficult to heal; caution is advised. If tidal fever occurs during the Zi and Wu hours (11 PM–1 AM and 11 AM–1 PM) accompanied by fire syndromes (risking bone tuberculosis), fewer than one in ten patients recover.
This ulcer appears on the nipple or its lateral sides, named *Ru Hua* (Breast Flower) or also known as *Ru Yong* (Breast Carbuncle). Its numerous orifices resemble a honeycomb. The treatment involves applying *Maliang Gao* (Hemp-Cool Ointment) externally and taking *Zhongjiu Wan* combined with formulas that support the interior and promote pus discharge internally. After seven days, pain gradually ceases, and the surrounding skin breaks open. Follow the previous methods for fumigation and washing, followed by tissue regeneration and wound leveling. Dietary restrictions on stimulating foods (*Fa Wu*) must be observed to ensure safety. Applying *Gezhi Gao* (Paper-Interposed Ointment) is also effective.
This condition arises beneath the nipple. Initially, it is bean-sized or date-pit-sized, gradually enlarging to the size of a chicken egg. It is hard as stone but not red or swollen. However, exposure to wind-heat or emotional anger causes redness, swelling, and pain, which subside after six or seven days. Do not puncture with needles. If accidentally punctured, bleeding may be uncontrollable, or the tissue may evert and fail to close, leading to a critical condition. For cases within the first one or two years of onset, repeated administration of *Zhongjiu Wan* can lead to gradual resolution. Alternatively, *Zhongjiu Wan* can be taken with *Yanghe Tang* (Warming Yang Decoction). If the lesion spontaneously ulcerates after many years, survival is virtually impossible.
