Qinji Baizhu Pill (Gentian and Atractylodes Macrocephala Pill)
Indicated for hemorrhoidal pain accompanied by discharge of pus and blood, constipation, and difficulty in controlling defecation.
Ingredients: Qinjiao (Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae), Taoren (Semen Persicae) [skin and tip removed], Zaojiaoren (Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis) [burned to retain its nature], Guiwei (Radix Angelicae Sinensis caudex), Zexie (Rhizoma Alismatis), Zhishi (Fructus Aurantii Immaturus) [stir-fried], Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) [1.5 qian], Diyü (Herba Sanguisorbae) [1 qian], Huaihua (Flos Sophorae) [0.67 qian].
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, mix with honey, and make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50-70 pills on an empty stomach, delivered with decoction of Chun Gen Pi (Cortex Radicis Toosendan). Avoid raw, cold, spicy, and hot foods.

Zanglian Wan (Intestine-Linked Pill)
Indicated for chronic hemorrhoids and fistulas, with miraculous efficacy.
Ingredients: Huhuanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis Teetae), Jingjie Sui (Spica Schizonepetae), Diyü (Herba Sanguisorbae) [each 1 liang], Huaihua (Flos Sophorae) [1.5 liang], Huaishu Mu'er (Auricularia Judae growing on Sophora tree) [1.5 liang].
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Take one live crucian carp weighing about ten taels, remove intestines and spines, mash the flesh into a paste, and mix with the powder to form dough. Take one chi five cun of healthy pig large intestine, turn inside out to remove fat, wash clean, stuff the medicine-dough mixture inside, tie securely, and boil until cooked. Eat on an empty stomach. For severe cases, do not exceed two doses; the effect is miraculous. If the disease has persisted for many years, dry the powder, grind it finely, mix with honey to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take one qian per dose on an empty stomach, delivered with wine or plain warm water.

Ergen Decoction (External Wash Formula)
Boil Jiucai Gen (Radix Allii Tuberosi) and Shanzha Gen (Radix Crataegi) to make a decoction for fumigation and washing; this is excellent.

Another Hemorrhoid Wash Formula
Boil Wuhuaguo Ye (Ficus Pumila Leaf) for fumigation and washing; it is very effective for pain relief.

Another Formula
Boil Yeputaotao Ye (Wild Grape Vine Leaf) and Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis) for washing; this is the best method.

Ruxiang Ointment for Hemorrhoids
Specifically for applying to hemorrhoidal fistulas, with miraculous efficacy.
Ingredients: Zhuyu (Fructus Euodiae), Baiji (Rhizoma Bletillae Striatae), Bailian (Bulbus Liriopis Michauxiae), Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis Chinensis), Huangbai (Cortex Phellodendri Amurensis), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) [each 2 qian], Huangdan (Lithargyrum) [2 qian], Ruxiang (Resina Frankincense) [1 qian], Qingfen (Calomelas) [3 fen], Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum).
Take four liang of sesame oil, boil willow branches until withered, add herbs and boil until withered, then filter cleanly. Boil a few more times, add Huangdan, then stir in Ruxiang and Qingfen evenly. Finally, add a small amount of Bingpian. Store in a porcelain jar. Apply using thin oil paper (boiled in licorice decoction and kneaded). Cleanse the area first, then apply. It promotes tissue regeneration and provides excellent pain relief.

Kuzhi Medicine Formula (Hemorrhoid Withering Formula)
Best for removing the root of hemorrhoids.
Ingredients: Mingfan (Alumen) [4 liang], Xin (Arsenic Trioxide) [1.5 qian], Zhusha (Cinnabar) [1 qian].
First, melt the alum in a spoon over heat. Then add the arsenic powder and stir evenly. Wait until the alum becomes brittle/crispy. Remove the "fire toxicity." Divide into three portions. Add Zhusha powder and Qingfen, grind together extremely finely, and store in a porcelain jar. When used, mix with saliva and apply to the hemorrhoid to wither it. Naturally, the hemorrhoid will wither and the root will be completely removed. Subsequently, apply tissue-regenerating medicine. Internal administration of detoxifying and nourishing decoctions yields miraculous results.

Huzhi Medicine Formula (Hemorrhoid Protection Formula)
This medicine protects healthy tissue surrounding the hemorrhoid.
Ingredients: Baiji (Rhizoma Bletillae Striatae), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei Palmati), Huangbai (Cortex Phellodendri Amurensis), Kushen (Radix Sophorae Flavescentis), Hanshuishi (Halloysitum Rubrum), Lüdou Fen (Powder of Phaseolus Angularis).
Mix equal parts into fine powder, prepare appropriately, and apply to healthy skin; this is excellent.

Huangla Nian (Yellow Wax Thread)
Formula for removing internal meat tubes in hemorrhoidal fistulas.
Ingredients: Qingfen (Calomelas) [8 qian], Sha (Arsenic Sulfide/Realgar) [5 qian], Songxiang (Resina Pini) [6 qian], Huangla (Beeswax) [6 qian], Tonglü (Verdigris) [3 qian], Kushen Mo (Powder of Sophorae Flavescentis Root) [5 fen].
First melt the wax and pine resin. Then add the fine powders and stir evenly. Allow to cool and solidify, then take out and roll by hand into incense stick shapes. Adjust according to the size and depth of the fistula opening. First probe with Bibie Miao (Water Chestnut Sprout).
If deep, insert a deep thread; if shallow, insert a shallow thread. Fit tightly. Change once daily. Once the internal tube is completely removed, the tract shall naturally become shallow and muscle level. Subsequently, apply tissue-regenerating medicines for best results.

Bulou Medicine Formula (Fistula Repair Formula)
Specifically treats hemorrhoidal fistulas to promote tissue regeneration and contraction.
Ingredients: Chuanwu (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii) [1 liang, processed], Huojiyu (Cyprinus Carpio) [one fish, 5-6 taels, sealed with yellow mud around navel, calcined to retain nature, ground to powder for use], Baiji Mo (Powder of Bletillae Striatae Rhizome) [1 liang], Fujian Qingdai Mo (Powder of Indigo Naturalis from Fujian) [2 qian], Guanfen (Lead Carbonate) [approx. 1 liang, wrapped in aged Zaojiao, calcined in fire until yellow, discard zaojiao].
Grind all together into fine powder, store in a porcelain jar. Apply directly to the fistula. Scab formation occurs excellently.
