This sore occurs posterior to the scrotum and anterior to the anus. This is the origin area of the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) and Du Mai (Governing Vessel). It may also arise from damp-heat accumulation, or due to overexertion, sexual indiscretion, and feelings of jealousy or resentment. Treatment should employ Neishu (internal purgation/dredging) and Naituo (internal support and toxin expulsion) methods. Healing can be achieved by treating according to specific symptoms. One must abstain from anger and sexual activity; otherwise, a fistula will form. I once treated a patient who had lesions in these three locations—this area and within the penis—resulting in urinary leakage. I cured him, but the condition recurred two months later due to sexual intercourse.

This sore occurs in the axilla. It belongs to the Shoujueyin Pericardium Meridian, which is characterized as having abundant blood and scarce qi. When it occurs near the Tianchi (PC1) acupoint, it causes chills, high fever, and severe pain, along with hot palms, arm stiffness, and facial redness. Initially, internal dredging methods should be used, followed by methods to dissipate toxicity and expel toxins.

This sore is generated by damp-heat toxicity in the Zutaoyin Spleen Meridian. This meridian is characterized as having abundant qi and scarce blood. It is located on the medial thigh near the upper knee. Treatment is suitable with Neituo Huang Chaihu Tang (Internal Support Cinnamon Twig and Bupleurum Decoction) added with Cangzhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma) and Fangji (Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix), among other herbs. External application of plasters is also recommended. Treating flexibly according to symptoms yields excellent results.

This belongs to the Shousanyang Sanjiao Meridian, which is characterized as having abundant qi and scarce blood. This ju (deep-seated abscess) arises between the Xiaguan (ST7) and Yifeng (TE17) acupoints. This lesion is typically accompanied by aversion to cold and high fever, and thirst. It can be punctured after seven or eight days. If the pus and discharge are yellowish-white, it is treatable. If the discharge is black and watery, the condition is extremely malignant. If thirst develops, the patient will die. The prognosis for the left and right sides is similar. Bilateral occurrence is also fatal. Generally, this indicates extreme severity of the pathogenic toxin.
[Mei Ju]
This belongs to the Zu Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, which is characterized as having abundant qi and scarce blood. This ju arises in the region of the Yangbai (GB14) acupoint, extending from the eyebrows to the forehead. It presents with redness, swelling, elevation, and hardness like stone. Puncture yields no pus, only spontaneous oozing of yellow fluid. Pain is severe, accompanied by mental confusion, vomiting, and regurgitation. Survival is possible if treatment leads to gradual reduction of symptoms; severe cases result in death. Women die within seven days, men within twenty-four days. Caution is advised.
[Zhu Ju]
This belongs to the Shousanyang Sanjiao Meridian, which is characterized as having abundant qi and scarce blood. It arises beside the Tianyou (TE15) and Yifeng (TE17) acupoints, below both ears. It can be punctured after six or seven days. If there is a sore opposite the umbilicus, it initially does not swell but presents with blister-like eruptions (Liaojang), gradually enlarging, eroding flesh, and ulcerating with pus. It starts from the heel, resembling tortoiseshell spots, named Xian Chuang (Excessive Sore), also known as Huagu Chuang (Bone-Melting Sore). If bone protrudes, it indicates failure of the Lung, and the condition is extremely malignant.
