Any food that has been crawled over by snakes, insects, or centipedes (Baijiao) contains toxicity. If a person ingests such food and experiences heat sensation and abdominal distension, immediately decoct three liang of Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix) with half sheng of Kujiu (Vinegar), bring to a boil, and drink in portions. The illness will resolve once the food is vomited out. Alternatively, one may take Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) decoction to induce vomiting more than ten times; or drink several sheng of raw Jiuzhi (Allii Tuberosi Juice). Both methods are effective.

Alcohol poisoning is characterized by unconsciousness persisting for a day. One may decoct one sheng of Heidou (Phaseoli Vulgaris Semen), warm the juice, and administer one zhan at a time. Recovery occurs within no more than three zhan. For poisoning from distilled spirits (Shaojiu), soak an old cloth in water, apply it to the chest and diaphragm area, and continuously administer antidotes until the patient regains consciousness.

After consuming wheat noodles, if epigastric distension, stuffiness, irritability, and thirst occur, it is advisable to chew raw Luobo (Raphani Semen) or drink its pressed juice. This is because wheat flour is extremely hot in nature, while Luobo can neutralize this property. Chewing and eating Dasuan (Allii Sativi Bulbus) also effectively resolves noodle toxicity.

Poisoning from various melons and cucumbers often results in abdominal pain and diarrhea. Drinking congee made from Nuomi (Oryza Glutinosa Semen) is recommended.

Fruits consumed out of season may contain toxins. Upon poisoning, burn Zhugu (Porci Os) to ash and swallow one or two qian with cold water.

Tongyou (Verniciae Oleum) causes vomiting and diarrhea, which is resolved by drinking hot wine. If poisoned by Qingyou (Vegetable Oil), Persimmon Cake Decoction serves as the antidote.

Urgently use four liang of Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) powder, mixed with Wuhui Jiu (Wine without Ash/Impurities), and drink as much as possible. Vomiting and purging should occur shortly thereafter. If thirsty, do not drink water, as doing so will be fatal. Another method: crush Danshidou (Sojae Semen Praeparatum) to extract juice, mix with Renru (Human Milk), and ingest to resolve toxicity.

Meat covered by a sealed container overnight is called Yurou (Stagnant Meat); meat touched by leaking roof water is called Loubu (Leaking Cured Meat). Both are toxic, and accidental ingestion can be fatal. Drinking Jiuzhi (Allii Tuberosi Juice) is suitable to resolve the toxicity.

If one feels fullness and indigestion after eating Gou Rou (Canis Meat), drink fresh juice of Luxiegen (Arundinaria Root); if dry, decoct and drink the juice.

For poisoning from fish resulting in mental confusion and restlessness, decoct Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) into a concentrated juice and ingest to resolve toxicity. Alternatively, drink Donggua (Benincasae Exocarpium) juice. Crab resolves Eel toxicity.

The location of the toxin: in the "Zi" region of the abdomen, in the pupils of the eyes, and in the blood of the spine. Therefore, if blood is not thoroughly soaked out, leading to purple-red spots in the eyes, or if the intestines are accidentally ruptured, or if processing is improper or contaminated with house dust, it leads to fatal abdominal distension. For poisoning, Olive Juice, Luxiegen (Arundinaria Root) juice, or Feces Juice can all serve as antidotes; Sugarcane Juice also resolves toxicity.
