Chuan Da Huang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, 2 liang, crushed and lightly stir-fried) Bin Lang (Arecae Semen, 2 liang) Niu Xi (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, 1 liang, radix tip removed) Xiong Qiong (Radix Chuanxiong, 1 liang) Zhi Ke (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride, 1 liang, bran-fried until slightly yellow, placenta removed) Du Huo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis, 1 liang) Fang Feng (Radix Saposhnikoviae, 1 liang, rhizome removed) Gui Xin (Cortex Cinnamomi, 1 liang) Da Ma Ren (Semen Cannabis, 2 liang) Yu Li Ren (Semen Pruni, 2 liang, soaked in water, skin and kernel removed)
The above herbs are pounded, sifted into fine powder, mixed with refined honey, and beaten for three to two hundred strokes. Form pills the size of a golden oriole seed. Take thirty pills daily on an empty stomach, washed down with ginger decoction.
