No, Ganqi usually refers to Drynaria or Licorice, but context suggests Gan Qi (Gambir) or similar resinous substance often processed this way, however "Gan Qi" in Song dynasty texts often refers to *Uncaria rhynchophylla* or similar, but processing "stir-fry until smoke" is typical for *Xuejieda* or *Ganqi* (resin). Given "Gan Qi" (1 liang, crush and fry until smoke), it likely refers to a resinous drug like *Gambir* or *Dragon's Blood* variant, but standard *Ganqi* is *Drynaria*. However, *Drynaria* is not fried to smoke. *Ganqi* might be a typo for *Gan Jiang* or *Gan Cao*? No, *Gan Jiang* is later. It is likely *Ganqi* (Resin/Gambir) or *Xuejie*. Let's stick to literal: Ganqi (1 liang, crush and stir-fry until smoke)). *Correction*: In Song texts, "Gan Qi" (干漆) is Drynaria? No, "Gan Qi" (干漆) is Dried Lacquer Resin. Yes, Dried Lacquer Resin is fried until smoke. So: Ganqi (Dried Lacquer Resin, 1 liang, crush and stir-fry until smoke appears), Chishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, 0.5 liang, stir-fry until yellow), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 0.5 liang, cut into pieces and slightly stir-fried), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, 1 fen, processed and cut), Mengchong (Blattodea Insect, 0.5 liang, slightly stir-fry until yellow, remove wings and feet), Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper, 1 liang, remove eyes and closed-mouth ones, slightly stir-fry to remove sweat), Qicao (Silkworm Larva, 0.5 liang, stir-fry until slightly yellow), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus, 1 fen, soak in water seven times, bake dry and slightly stir-fry), Sheng Huangqi (Astragali Radix, 1 liang, remove root ends).

Given "grind and add", it's a mineral/pigment. Yanzi (Vermilion, 1 qian, ground and added), Banmao (Mylabris, 0.5 liang, remove wings and feet, stir-fry with glutinous rice until rice turns yellow).
