夫小儿丹发。肉中赤如丹。赤色大者如手。剧者遍身赤痒。故号天火丹也。
治小儿天火丹发。遍身赤如绛色。宜用此方。
油麻（五分） 生鲫鱼（半斤）
上件药。捣如泥。涂在丹上。燥复涂之。
又方。
虎脂（二两） 黄丹（一两）
上件药。研为膏涂之。即瘥。
又方。
桑根白皮（二两） 丹参（一两） 甘菊花（一两半） 莽草（一两）
上件药。细锉和匀。每用二两。以水三升。煎至二升。去滓。看冷暖。避风浴儿。
又方。
上以鬼目捣绞取汁。涂赤处。
又方。
上以赤小豆捣末。以鸡子白和涂之。
又方。
上捣荏子汁涂之。
又方。
上取小儿埋胞衣瓶子中水三合。时时与儿服。及涂身上有毒处。
夫小儿丹。发两胁及腋下膀上。谓之殃火丹也。
治小儿殃火丹。生于胁腋下方。

上细研为散。每服。以竹沥调下半钱。量儿大小。加减服之。

上取伏龙肝细研。以生油调涂之。

上以浮萍草捣绞取汁。时时小儿服之。
夫小儿丹发两膀上。不过一日便赤黑。谓之神火丹也。
治小儿神火丹方。

上捣绞取汁。先微揩丹上。后涂之。以瘥为度。
又方。
上以鲫鱼半斤。捣如泥。涂丹上。唯数涂为良。
又方。
上以栀子仁捣末。用醋和涂之。
When infantile erysipelas (infantile red skin disease) erupts, the flesh and skin appear red like cinnabar. The red patches may be as large as a hand; in severe cases, the entire body becomes red and itchy, hence the name Tianhuo Dan (Heavenly Fire Erysipelas).
For treating infantile Tianhuo Dan where the whole body is red like crimson, this prescription is suitable:
Sesamum indicum seed (5 fen) Fresh Crucian carp (0.5 jin)
Mash the above ingredients into a paste and apply to the affected area. Reapply when dry.
Another prescription:
Tiger fat (2 liang) Lead tetroxide (1 liang)
Grind the above ingredients into an ointment and apply; the condition will heal.
Another prescription:
Morus alba root bark (2 liang) Salvia miltiorrhiza root (1 liang) Chrysanthemum morifolium flower (1.5 liang) Dipsacus asperoides root (1 liang)
Finely chop and mix the above ingredients evenly. Take 2 liang each time, add 3 sheng of water, decoct until 2 sheng remains, filter out the dregs. Allow the temperature to become suitable (neither too hot nor too cold), and bathe the infant away from wind.
Another prescription:
Crush Guomu (Celastrus orbiculatus fruit) and extract the juice; apply to the red areas.
Another prescription:
Grind Vigna angularis (Adzuki bean) into powder, mix with egg white, and apply.

Extract juice from Perilla frutescens seed and apply.
Another prescription:
Collect three he of water from the jar used to bury the infant's placenta. Administer orally to the infant occasionally, and apply to toxic areas on the body.
When infantile erysipelas erupts on both flanks and under the arms, it is called Yanghuo Dan (Calamity Fire Erysipelas).
To treat infantile Yanghuo Dan arising below the ribs and axillae:
Natrii sulfas (Chuan Puxiao)
Finely grind into a powder. For each dose, mix half qian with bamboo sap (Zhuli) and administer. Adjust the dosage according to the infant's size.
Another prescription:
Take Longgu (Fired earth from the hearth), finely grind, mix with raw oil, and apply.
Another prescription:
Crush Spirodela polyrrhiza (Floating duckweed) and extract the juice; administer to the infant occasionally.
When infantile erysipelas erupts on both upper arms and turns dark red or black within a day, it is called Shenhuo Dan (Divine Fire Erysipelas).
Prescription for treating infantile Shenhuo Dan:
Akebia quinata stem (Jingtianhua)
Crush and extract the juice. First, gently rub the affected area, then apply. Continue until healed.
Another prescription:
Use 0.5 jin of fresh crucian carp, mash into a paste, and apply to the erysipelas. Frequent applications are beneficial.

Grind Gardenia jasminoides seed into powder, mix with vinegar, and apply.
