上用炼了腊月猪脂。每日空心。取如皂荚子大服之。甚良。

上件药。研如膏。以绵裹枣核大。纳下部中。甚者不过三度瘥。

上件药。捣罗为末。以猪膏合丸。如枣核大。纳下部中。更以葱白两茎。去须。水煮浓
汁。
Infantiasis of *Taenia* (Cestoda) in children refers to one of the nine types of intestinal parasites. The worms are approximately one cun in length, white in color, and small and flat in shape. Infants often contract this condition due to unregulated consumption of sweet and fatty foods, or excessive intake of raw and cold foods.
To treat persistent *Taenia* infection in infants lasting for years, characterized by a sallow complexion without luster, emaciation, and weakness, use Qingdai San (Indigo Naturalis Powder):
Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis, 1 fen) Kudigen Radix (Radix Meliae, 1 liang, slightly roasted and chopped) Chenshen Fructus (Fructus Carpesii, 1 fen) Arecae Semen (Seed of Areca Nut, 1 piece).
The above ingredients are finely ground and sifted through a fine sieve to make a powder. Before each dose, administer a small amount of plain dried meat first, then mix half a qian of the powder with rice water for oral administration. Adjust the dosage according to the child's age and size.
Another prescription:
Zhusha (Cinnabar, 2 qian) Shexiang (Musk, 1 qian) Korella Fructus (Flesh of Melia Azedarach Fruit, 1 liang, stir-fried with glutinous rice until the rice is cooked).
The above ingredients are thoroughly ground into a fine powder. Mix with steamed dough soaked in water to form pills the size of mustard seeds. Take seven pills on an empty stomach; use cold water in spring and summer, and warm water in autumn and winter.
To treat chronic *Taenia* infection in infants that has not healed, use Binglang San (Areca Seed Powder):
Binglang (Areca Seed, 2 pieces, powdered) Zhiyao Jiaojiao (Gleditsia Sinensis Pod, 3 pods, burnt) Korella Fructus (Melia Azedarach Fruit, 5 pieces, powdered).
The above ingredients are ground together into a powder. On an empty stomach, decoct the bark of Kudigen Radix (Melae Root Bark) and take half a qian of the powder mixed with this decoction. After three doses, the worms will be expelled naturally. Adjust according to the child's size.
Another prescription:
Chenshen Fructus (Carpe Fruit, 3 fen) Leiwan (Omphalia Lapidea, 3 fen) Quansuzi (Quassia Amara Seed, 3 fen) Badou (Croton Tiglium Seed, 10 pieces, peeled, heart removed, wrapped in paper and pressed to remove oil).
The above ingredients are ground into powder. Mix with glutinous rice paste to form pills the size of mung beans. Take three pills per dose with sugar water. Adjust the dosage according to the child's age and size.
Enterobiasis (Pinworm Infection) in infants is also one of the nine types of intestinal parasites. The worms are very small, resembling modern pinworms. This condition is caused by deficiency and weakness of the internal organs.
To treat infant enterobiasis:
Use rendered lard from the twelfth lunar month. Take an amount the size of a Gleditsia pod on an empty stomach daily. This is highly effective.
Another prescription:
Take powdered Sophora Fruit (Huaishi), apply a small amount internally to the anus.
Another prescription:
Take powdered Melia Azedarach Fruit (Koulianshi), apply a small amount internally to the anus.
To treat infant enterobiasis causing erosion and itching in the anal region, use Dazao Gao (Jujube Paste):
Steamed Jujube (Red Date, 2 pieces, flesh only) Mercury (Shuiyin, 0.5 fen).
Grind the ingredients together until the mercury granules disappear completely. Shape into sticks one cun long. Wrap in cotton cloth, insert into the anus overnight, and expulsion of worms the next morning indicates efficacy.
To treat infant enterobiasis eroding the anal region, use Hufen San (Lead Carbonate Powder):
Hufen (Basic Lead Carbonate, 1 fen) Xionghuang (Realgar, 2 fen).
Grind the ingredients thoroughly into a fine powder. Apply a small amount internally to the anus.
Another prescription:
Xingren (Apricot Kernel, 1 liang, soaked in hot water, peeled, tips removed, double-kernel removed, lightly stir-fried with bran until yellow).
Grind the ingredients into a paste. Wrap in cotton cloth to the size of a jujube pit and insert into the anus. For severe cases, no more than three treatments are needed for recovery.
Another prescription:
Huagen Baipi (Sophora Root Bark, 1 liang, chopped) Taoren (Peach Kernel, 1 liang, soaked in hot water, peeled, tips removed, double-kernel removed, raw ground) Korella Fructus (Melia Azedarach Fruit, 1 liang).
Grind the ingredients into powder. Mix with pig fat to form pills the size of a jujube pit, and insert into the anus. Additionally, boil two stalks of scallion whites (removing roots) in water to make a concentrated decoction.
